Did they ever add new coolant to the loop and fix the pump failing issue? I want to purchase one but those two are the only things holding me back.

I have contacted Enermax customer support to find out myself, and they said they have addressed this issue in the II series. I am waiting to purchase one myself for my 1950x.

Would this work well with an i9-9900k?

this is for TR4 socket, so unless you have a bracket adapter that would let you mount it you won't be able to use this.
