Not brilliant if you were sending valuable artwork that you didn't ...
Judging from the last reviewers 1 star, (and no mention of actual thickness anywhere in the description), I took a chance on ordering these. Yes they are thinner than what I would normally buy (prices have shot up since ordering tubes last year so was after some bargain tubes). I can confirm the thickness of these tubes are approximately 1mm - 1.4mm (measured with a digital caliper). As a guide a toilet roll is 0.3-0.4mm. Not brilliant if you were sending valuable artwork that you didn't want arrived squashed, but for posting long items through royal mail to keep within the (business rated small parcel size CRL) these are ok for me. I will probably make some cardboard inserts to strengthen the middle section but they could do with being a little bit thicker.
