This lovely book brought back memories as my son, now 34, used to have it when he was small. Now I have bought it for my grandaughter and she loved it.

2nd best duck story in the world.
(The best one is Make Way for Ducklings,) but this is very charming too. Read it over and over to my kids. Everyone likes a wayward duckling and a happy ending, and the pics are lovely. A great little paperback for a handbag
