it's on a plasterboard wall however, for extra sturdiness cut a hole in my wall and put up some cut-off bits of timber behind it. Its been up on my wall for a week and is still in tact.

Awful piece of equipment and very poorly made… place a speaker on and the whole are bends even when tightened. Not buying again.

Fast and easy to put up and very strong

Very unhappy with the way the brackets wall brackets have been sent out to me no bolts or anything with them not even instructions but that's not the point no bolts and I don't know what size bolts they are ?? And I was planning on putting them on a brick wall too please if you want brackets don't go here very poor for service I find out my self what bolts to get for it

Would no recommend this item.They state the brackets can hold 25kg speakers, so there’s me thinking, yes, these will do the job nicely as my speakers weigh in at 6kg.Fitted the mounts to the wall, (straight through the plaster and into brickwork) absolutely no problem at all. Whacked the speaker on, no issues, got my friend to hold the speaker at the angle I wanted, gave the bolts a good tighten up, stood back and slowly but surely my speaker started descending, thought I might have not tightened them enough, tried to go a little tighter, same issue. In the end, as a last resort I whipped out the old impact driver, gave the bolts a very good go with the trusty DeWalt Impact, and same issue.If your speakers weigh anything more than a bag of sugar, I wouldn’t bother with these stands, which I have obviously had to drill into my walls, so I am now stuck with 4 holes in my walls which need filling.

Medium sized scratch down one of them, the weld at the back seems a little weak but looks like they could do the job, the holes to fit it on the wall are large which is good.

These are reasonably priced but cheaply made and really struggled to hold up my Alto speakers which are 12kg, less than half the max advertised weight load. There is a lot of play in the bracket and you really have to screw the bolts in super tight to keep the speakers from drooping. I would be very reluctant to put anything heavier than 12kgs on these and not expect them to droop.
