Works great for Reefer carrier unit

This is a really nice separator. Using it for a hot air furnace. It’s so big that for this application it will also act as a sediment filter. Fittings that came with it didn’t even fit the separator. Had to buy the fittings

It would have been nice had the seller warned buyers in the United States that the fittings and threaded ports on this filter are impossible to connect to. The threads on both the supplied fittings and the ports on the filter itself are foreign. After weeks of searching hardware stores for a way to attach my fuel lines with no luck today I went to the Parker store (the folks who make the famous Parker fuel filters) They had rows and rows of shelves with nothing but fittings for all kinds of things from fuel filters to hydraulic lines, etc... Yet even they had NOTHING that I could use to hook this filter to a common 5/16 fuel hose. The tapered threads in the ports are close enough to standard pipe thread that it seems a normal pipe threaded hose barb would work, but not close enough to seal properly. Even with several layers of Teflon tape they still leak.I can't comment on how well the filter works since I've never been able to hook it up and have pretty much given up at this point.

Not working for the application I'm using it for. But a good product overall. Picture shows two fittings on the sides, they don't come with it.Update 4/2018I'm having some seepage from the drain. I can't get it tight enough to stop all seepage. I'll most likely just remove this and go with another fuel water separator filter.

Seems to separate fuel and water but leaks uncontrollably. O-ring appears too thin.
