On moving into a house with an Aga, like others we felt that we needed a drying rack in order to cut down on tumble dryer use and make the most of the Aga being always on.We bought the double decker from Blake and Bull because of all the reviews online recommending it. We weren’t disappointed- it’s incredibly well made. It’s also very well designed- fitting and stacking perfectly with the feet having rubber caps so as not to scratch the enamel. The legs fold away so the racks can be slipped away in a cupboard when not in use.I would definitely recommend this product.A caveat to this review: if you need to use the lids a lot or need the washing drying quickly then consider drying direct on the lids- it irons better this way but you can’t just leave it or you may well come to find your clothes are now ashes! If you are out all day or your Aga is left on fully overnight then the rack is a good choice, and this rack is the best you can buy.

Substantial and very well made. Works well, especially for drying sheets flat which then don’t really need ironing, should that be something you generally do. Storage when not in use needs to be considered.

Substantial rack that fits the Aga top well and is very useful

I've wanted one of these for years and finally got round to buying one. I dithered between the single and the double and eventually decided to go for the double. I'm eally pleased I did. It fits easily on the Aga (although I have to take it off to cook or make a cup of tea!) and airs lots of washing in one go. I feel happy leaving it on the Aga overnight although I'm extra careful to make sure nothing is in contact with a hot surface. It also works for drying clothes instead of using tumble dryer. Very happy with it. I would have liked some instructions to know which way round to put the legs but I think I worked it out.

You get just what was advertised. It is easy to put together and stores readily against a wall or in a cupboard. Most small items are dry in a couple of hours. Very glad I bought it!

Perfect for drying and airing clothes, especially items which have to be laid flat. You can use the lower rack on its own or double up with the top one. Very satisfying way to use the heat from the AGA and reduces the need to use a conventional dryer machine. Very AGA-compatible and even the lower rack has little rubber covers to the 'feet' to prevent scratching the enamel. A little cumbersome to dismantle and store but a small price to pay for a solid contruction. The only thing that is missing, in my opinion, is some clips to hold the legs against the main frame for when its is stored away. I would definitely recommend this item.

Very well made and excellent quality. Rubber feet on the bottom section ensure that the surface of the range cooker is not damaged. Very easy to store when not in use.
