Finally, the LD70 as it was meant to be!
IMPORTANT: This is indeed the true EDC masterpiece LD70 AND the charging case. This is the kit you are looking for.So bright it can burn things. So small you can hide it in your hand. The LD70 -- with the charging case -- is the most convenient of all the Imalent's EDC flashlights I've tried, and I went through many. (without the case, the magnetic charger is awful). Imalent does more with 4k lumens in this tiny package that 90% of the 5 million lumen torches around here 😝The Great:For more info, look into the reviews of the LD70 standalone. It is solid quality value with an annoying charger. This makes it almost perfect.* Bright like a light saber* Heats up slower than the BL70, despite being smaller* Easy to turn on and off -- one button on the end, no side to bump accidentally, double tap for light canon mode.* No need to fumble with or remember how to unlock -- it shuts off in the case* Holstering the flashlight into the case is remarkably satisfying. Every time.* The case can charge and charge other devices at remarkably high speed* With a catch -- only if the flashlight is not installed, or is fully charged. I'll cover this in a bit* The magnetic cover makes for a great fidget. As does the the light itself.* Really good -- like insanely good at heating things up quickly. Like melting / softening thermoplastics - it is... well more fun than using flame or hot air, that's for sure.Problems:* The flashlight itself charges VERY slowly for a device you can drain in a few minutes... It really needs better than 5v, 0.5a. The BL70 has a built in charger and charges faster. I was VERY surprised to find out it doesn't charge any faster in the case, AND it stops the case from fast charging.Pro tip: If you need the case to fast charge, flip the flashlight upside down in the case. Keeps it all together.PRO PRO tip: __You will find that by keeping it in the case, the slow charging is rarely a problem__* Imalent doesn't use a consistent number of taps across flashlights for locking / unlocking -- 4 or 5 -- and I get it wrong every time. Not an issue if kept in the case, but still there.* Double-tap behavior is unnatural and confusing. Double tap needs to cycle to off, not just between strobe and turbo. My Story:I bought the flashlight alone, decided it was cool, but impractical, started the return then saw the case. Ordered the case. Tried them together, not happy with the slow charging (and having the 6k lumen BL70), planned to return the whole thing... then used it as a Christmas present for my mom instead...That I've been lusting after ever since... 🤣 and the moment I saw this kit finally available I caved and we are together again lol

This charger for the Imalent LD70 is so much better than the LD70 charging cable!!
If you have an Imalent LD70 flashlight, I highly recommend that you get one of these for recharging your flashlight. Personally, I hate the cable that comes with the LD70 when you purchase the flashlight. If you are not careful and sometimes even when you are careful you can short out the flashlight (Yes, I'm raising my hand!). This charger solves that issue and is in general a much more elegant, charging solution. It comes with a USB C port and has a built-in light that indicates the level of charge: Red, Yellow, Green. I really like this little charger, and it is Highly Recommended.

Good addition to the lineup
I have had my LD70 for a while now and have loved it. This case, while not necessary, is still very nice to have. It charges the flashlight pretty quick from empty to full and the case even allows you to keep the wrist strap on your LD70 with out preventing the cover from closing. At first I was annoyed that it had magnets to keep the cover on but the more I use it the more glad I am that it's not attached since it could be a potential point of failure.
