This silicone scar tape is of good quality, strong and reusable. I use it for small cuts instead of using it for scars. It helps with healing fast and prevents scar formation. This is a must have in my first aid bin.

I just had a growth removed from my forehead. My surgeon said that there would be no scar - WRONG!! As soon as the wound was about 75% healed, and no scab was visible, I began to use this silicone scar 'tape.' There are instructions on how long to leave it on each day until no signs of a reaction, especially for those of us with sensitive skin, occur. I began applying it for 4 hours per day, then 5 hours per day, etc. until I quickly ascertained that it was not irritating my skin. I wore it up to 12 hours per day; then I removed it for about 2 - 3 hours prior to going to sleep. I'd apply it for about 7 -8 hours, depending upon how long I'd slept. I could see results within the first week. I am now in my last week to 10 days, and the scar is 90% healed! I'd expected that results would take at least 2 months, because the growth was deep, plus my surgeon had had to cut beyond the edges of the growth, in case the precancerous growth was actually cancer. He'd needed to send the entire lesion off for a biopsy (it was not cancer at all). I am amazed that in one month's time, the silicone tape has almost closed the scar entirely. It was not at all irritating to my sensitive skin! I have one very long and deep scar above my right eye that's 2 years old. I will try the silicone on that long-ago sustained scar. I don't expect quick results, but I thought the same about my post-surgery scar. If I am able to edit this review, I'll send a review about the results later. Both the post-op scar and the old scar interfered with my vision due to their locations, and it's why I didn't treat both areas simultaneously. One great thing is that you can cut the tape into the shape of the scar - with a bit more for margins for better adhesion - but both the right and left scars are located right above both eyes. I wear glasses, which made them a bit more difficult to wear over the tape. Other than that small problem, there were no problems. I highly recommend them!

This tape went on easily and held tight. It sticks as well to skin as it does to bandages. Yet when it came time to remove, I could easily pull it off without damaging any skin underneath, even when I accidentally had it taped over a small area of wound. Very pleased with this one. Generous amount. Can be a bit tricky to see how to take the tape off the backing, but realizing it's more narrow than the tape-backing makes it easier.

This was easy to apply, but by morning it was off. I tried it again during the daytime yet within a few hours it had curled up and I by the end of the day I couldn't get it to stick again. So I would not say that this sticks as well as other scar tapes that I have used. For that reason I give it three stars.

If you have scars, this tape is amazing at minimizing those scars. Whether new or older scars, this has healing technology which minimizes scar tissue. Great find!

I've been using this Scar Tape for about 2 weeks and I see a slight difference in the lightening of old scars. I'm hoping extended use will help my scars to fade to a less noticeable pigment as they are on my right forearm and very noticeable. Oddly enough, I don't notice them anymore, but I have people approach me all of the time asking what happened. It's none of their business, so I love making up outlandish stories about how I got scared from wrist to elbow. I'm hoping by using this scar tape they won't stand out so much and won't garner so much interest to busybodies.
