Little boxes, on the hillside . . . .
Step away from the ticky tacky! These tiny homes are excellent. If you are going to build a structure anyway, why not go an extra step beyond OSB covered studs and build something worth keeping. The construction details are not exactly engineered drawings, but the pictures are awesome and will provide inspiration for your own plans. Using this book will assume you can already build a structure but the spectrum of ideas served me well and I do recommend the purchase.

DIY Building Sheds and Tiny Homes
Love the book! It has more fancy tiny homes than sheds but still helpful and instructive.

No shed plans or illustrations, all tiny homes
The title said backyard sheds, but it was all tiny houses. I'm looking for a simple design for a backyard she shed, these were homes with baths and kitchens. Not one photo or diagram of a simple shed.

30 years late, but well written.
This book is full of useful information, that would have been invaluable when we constructed our shed, but Jay Shafer, was only a child. It was still worth the price, for the detailed information on metal roof installation. Thank you Jay Shafer for writing it.

I would buy this all over again if I needed to do so. Jay Shafer did a great job with this book.

It was not what I expected.
I was expecting more from this book. I am looking for floor plans for tiny houses and thought this would have many. There were a few, Most of it is how to build the tiny house, which a good carpenter could figure out without this book. There was nothing that I could find about how to insulate the floor for winter use. This book was big disappointment for me. I was going to return it, but Amazon very generously told me I didn't have to. "Tiny House Floor Plans" is a very good book if you are looking for floor plans.
