I'm always on the hunt for anything better than the bulky, tightly wound body poufs. You can't get into the nooks and crannies with those. I have a shower wall full of poufs I hate.This sponge/pouf exfoliates like a pouf. It retains the soap so you don't have to keep reloading. It rinses out easily to prevent nastiness building up. You can get into the nooks and crannies quite easily.Definitely recommend.

It lathers like a dream and the exfoliation is not intense but just the right amount. Being a person with sensitive skin this is great

I accidentally bought this when Amazon showed me "inspired by your browsing history"; on a quick glance, I thought it was previous purchases. I thought it was the washcloth version I know and love. I decided to give it a go anyway, and it is a decent bath sponge. I give it 4 out of 5 stars for now, more so out of preference for the washcloth version, which is a bit coarser for exfoliating and better at scrubbing your back. Interested to see how durable it is.

Does a good job of exfoliating dry flaky skin. Dries quickly.

Not sure why this has a 4.2 rating, horrible loofa/bath sponge. Start off by saying, this generates very, very little suds! The clip shows a lot of suds, must be using dish soap for the preview because that’s not what happens. The outer “exfoliating” cover feels cheap & will come apart soon. Horrible product.You get WAY more suds from an oversized loofa, feels better & you don’t have to use as much soap. Waste of money!

Buyer beware...I was 'convinced' to purchase this sponge after seeing it demonstrated and endorsed on one of the national morning news shows (when they do those segments on great products of a certain genre) The demonstration on TV showed a sponge that created amazing foam/suds/bubbles for use in the shower or bath to use as a replacement for a washcloth or for one of those nylon mesh 'loofah-type' pouf balls. The demonstration also raved about the exfolliating properties of this Goshi sponge. From my experience with this sponge, I will agree that the outer material is actually very good at exfolliating...I could really feel the texture of the sponge cover and it was invigorating. What is sooo disappointing is that when using a liquid soap or shower gel (or similar) this sponge does NOT produce a lot of soapy foam/bubbles/suds. You need to continuously re-apply more and more liquid soap product to create enough suds to wash your entire body. I really don't like those nylon mesh balls because they always become loose and 'unravel', however, they create a lot of suds from just a moderate amount of the liquid soap. Perhaps others have had better luck with this product, or perhaps I'm somehow using it incorrectly but overall, I'm disappointed in the lack of soapy suds/lather that this sponge creates (or DOESN'T create!)

Best sponge I've ever used. Works wonders exfoliating and leathers perfectly.

I love this shower sponge. The gentle exfoliation is great, it is easy to use, perfect size, and seems like it will last for a while. Tip: if you want to maintain the shape, switch hands while washing.
