Amazing IR temp sensor
Used it as a secondary thermal monitoring sensor for a bms worked extremely well.

I just wish it could operate at higher i2c frequency

Works good but..
Didn't play nice with another I2C device, a 1.3" OLED display, but this was using the LGT Nano running at 32 Mhz. Works ok with the .96" OLED though. The MLX90614 can be ordered without the board but the board i received has a linear regulator that allows me to use the device at 5vdc.
