Burner worked fine in slide-in GE range.
GE slide-in range. Had problems controlling temp on front (3 ring) burner on JS750SF3SS. This review only applies to that unit and this burner. Made the mistake of changing out this burner when I should have changed out the controller (see separate review). Advice:1. If you have problems controlling the temperature of a burner and the burner is working (heating up), try changing out the controller first. It is MUCH CHEAPER AND MUCH EASIER to try this first instead of changing the burner.2. Make SURE you have the correct model number. Do your research on GE website. Find parts numbers, diagrams, and assembly views for your range. I even called them, got the correct part number and (higher) price.3. Don't necessarily rely on YouTube videos, unless the model is the SAME. They might look the same but taking it apart can be very different. Use the assembly diagrams for your range from GE. The videos showed a couple of screws and lift up the top....my unit was significantly different and much much more difficult. With respect to only my unit, I would not recommend changing this burner for an amateur DIY'er.4. On the flip side, do use the videos. Once you get into it there are a lot of similarities.5. Disconnect the power. Take your time. Disconnect the wires one at a time and make sure you reconnect the wires correctly. Take pictures if you doubt yourself. My situation required the use of the two included jumpers/adapters.Changed the burner after several hours of work. Burner worked fine, although still had the same problem. Switched out the controller and solved the problem.

Easy to install and feels much hotter than oem
Easy to install. Took me less than 10min from start to finish.

Pigtail is an adapter!
The only issue that kept me from giving 5 stars was confusion regarding the included pigtail. It was not a direct reconnect (terminal locations were different and markings were hard to read on both replaced and replacement parts). The pigtail is not an extension, but an adapter as the spade terminals are different sizes. If this instruction would have been included, I would give it 5 stars!

This is a little bit too early to do this review,But I will update depending on how long last, I put on today 4/16/25I didn’t had a time before so I installed 2 days after I received the item,So far working good, fits perfectly too.

Direct replacement. Fit perfectly. Hard to reinstall clips.
Enclosed instructions had confusing terminal labels and diagrams. I replaced terminals exactly as on previous unit. Worked perfectly.

4th time replacing this element
We bought the stove in 2016 and had to replace this surface element in March 2022 when it burned out, Then again in October 2022, and again in January 2024. Now need to replace again in March 2025.Also in August 2023 we had to replace the oven door gasket.HMMMM? Maybe it's time to replace the WHOLE stove...... HMMMMM....
