On onr hand, I love the overall shape and design, the washable cover (would like alternative colors to be available)The snap strap/adjustment does tend to dig into the throat as others commented. Im a thinner framed woman so I have to adjust to a smaller size and its a little too tall at the throat area for me. The forehead and sides are good, but I wish had a velcro strap and was able to cinch a little smaller and they could shave down the bulk at the chin area so it doesnt dig into the throat. I went back to using a cheaper version thats not nearly as durable as this one. Just for the throat comfort. This one, except for that, is really the better face down pillow, if you have a bigger face, a man may do better with it. We are all different, so my search continues.

Don't use this pillow unless you want to lay your head on something that has been previously used by who knows who. It was opened and had bee used. When I contacted Amazon they wanted me to return it. I don't want to touch that nasty thing. And besides, isn't that the problem: Amazon allowing returns on used therapeutic items?

This face down pillow does not include sufficient breathing holes - especially not on a soft surface, like a mattress - where the too shallow arcs along the bottom simply sink into the mattress. It works OK on a massage table, but I could not sleep on it.

This pillow is sturdy and holds shape really well. I find that it is too high for me to get comfortable with it and it is a dud for me but I am assuming not everyone would hate a little lift. To be fair, it couldn't be much shorter because your face is just off the bed but I wasn't able to be comfortable with it all the same. I feel like the firm pillow is too much pressure for my face but it is less firm than massage table pillows that are similar - I think the points just line up very poorly with my face. For reference I'm a smaller round face. I didn't like this pillow but am reviewing based on the quality and construction and that is really good. It has a very nice rigid foam in it and an adjustable snap at the bottom to get a better fit. The holes in the bottom help with breathing and allowing arms to rest in a more natural position inside although this seems to constrict the air movement.

My boyfriend sleeps on his stomach and constantly complained that he couldn't breathe through the pillow so I got this for him for Christmas. It takes some breaking in, as all memory foam does, but it works! It cradles your face and doesn't hurt your neck

My boyfriends love language is at home massages, and this has up'ed my massage game. This pillow works on all surfaces. I've used the pillow on the bed and on the floor to help align the spine.
