I did not notice any color change on the few cast stones that I used this on. It just removed the rust.

Can the product be applied on painted (white) garage walls built with cement block. The stain was caused by leaking pipes?

Singerman is the best rust remover I have ever used but works best on unpainted surfaces. I have put it on painted surfaces and it doesn't work as well. I would suggest putting on only a small portion first to see how it reacts. But it really is the best and I have tried it all. Hope this helps you out.
