So I took awhile to write this review so I could have all the facts and erase any doubts in buying this, so to start off with 5/5 just doesn't do this justice, these kilts are a 9.3/10 for a more accurate rating, but this is my daily wear since i work with animals like a farmhand so I'm really active and need some durable, breathable and most importantly agile, For anyone questioning if this will hold up the answer is a automatic yes, this kilt has literally been through it all and still is in pretty good condition, from sleeping in it to climbing/ fixing fences to dealing with hostile animals this holds up wonderfully, honestly you need a major wind storm for this kilt to even start fluttering around as this is really good from the thickness of it. So you don't need to worry about it blowing over. It is extremely breathable even in the most horrid summer days here in Arizona and because it's so breathable and keeps you pretty warm if your from the colder areas as I'm from Washington, it does take a lot longer for it to smell funky then wearing normal pants.but this does need dry cleaned, but you can spray some febreeze to kill off the funky smell until you're able to have it cleaned, for those who are worried about the straps.... don't be as they are still durable as ever as the day I bought them, this kilt is good for daily wear to cosplay all the way to special occasions. Honestly depending on how often you wear the kilt, that will be the determining factor on how often you need to clean it. But other than that, the kilt is amazing and won't let ya down. But I would recommend measuring around your belly button for the most accurate fit and if you don't wanna spend $200+ for a kilt, this is a great option and if it's a little big then you can always have it tailored to your size which is still cheaper than getting a premium kilt that you'll be afraid to use or wear rarely. and for those who are questioning themselves on getting a kilt. Do it! We humans have wrapped cloth around ourselves since ancient Greece so don't worry about it, and there's no gatekeepers for kilts lol so just choose what you like, it's a battle of the self but believe me, wearing a kilt makes life a lot more convenient believe it or not.

Looks great!
I wear this during circle at the Hash House Harriers. It's quality and comfort all in one.

Nice with a single issue.
Nice fabric, generous design and style. Arrived on time. One challenge was that the straps were twisted in the package. It made them difficult to fasten at first wearing. They are improving with wear but still annoying…the curly straps look funny and can stick you unpleasantly.

Great fit and comfortable
Very comfortable and if you get your size right it will always fit my one complaint isthat it doesn't come with sporan loops but over all this kilt is Excellent.

Perfect Look, Feel, Fit
If you have a significant other who is a fan of Outlander, you came to the right place. The look is right, the price is right, I KNOW you're not gonna know what the fit is supposed to be, but it certainly doesn't feel wrong. Paired with the right linen shirt, you can make your lady swoon. And haven't you always wanted to be a rough Scottish rogue? Give in to the shared desires.

Good enough for a few uses; value-for-money is just okay. Sizing notes included
This acrylic wool kilt is quite lightweight, has a clean and somewhat modern look, with crisp pleats, and should hold up well for a few light uses. I'd consider spending a bit more and getting a better made kilt; it would cost more than twice, but should last much more than twice as long. Now, this one hasn't fallen apart yet, but I've only (hand) washed it once and can see some wear in the acrylic fabric. New, out of the bag, there were a couple of weave defects - fixed those with a bit of needle work. The stitching overall is good, but the fabric doesn't look like it will hold up well to friction from daily wear. They did add a synthetic lining inside to protect the parts with the most contact, but as you can imagine that reduces breathing around those areas. The straps are really cheap faux leather, in fact they feel more like vinyl than anything. But they do the job and don't show signs of cracking on mine yet. The buckles are stitched securely. In terms of pricing - the kilt is made in Pakistan, and has minimal branding treatment. It doesn't even have a label indicating materials or wash instructions, which I find problematic. I found the same kilt with different branding on another online store, priced much lower, but that one was clearly an even lower QA band - you get what you pay for.Sizing - ignore what everyone is saying and measure it as indicated in the sizing charts. Don't go by your usual pants size, or what others are saying you should add to your pants size. Just measure yourself at the navel and buy that size. The straps on the kilt measure that indicated size at the smallest setting, so you have another 2 inches to grow into if needed. There are buckles but don't buy large with the intention to use belts - the buckles are designed for accessory belts only (they are quite widely spaced).

Waist too small
A couple inches too small in the waist. Couldn’t get straps into buckles.

Returned but loved it.
Great kilt. I did return it but only because it was too small. Aside from that it was well made and I will buy it in the right size.
