Clairol Blonde It Up Crystal Glow Toner Kit - Luminous Pearl

Works wonders! Applied to hair after lightening and it was great. Will buy again, the purple is subtle lavender, cool toned which goes great with my skin, and beautiful product. Best from the bunch I tried!For professionals: I did a bleach with 10 vol to have a soft lift from a level 4 to a level 7, then a bleach shampoo cap with 20 vol to lighten further to a level 9. Next time I’ll do another bleach cap to bring the remaining level 7 seen on lengths to the level 9 before applying this product again to hopefully get an even level 9 with lavender deposit. Had very little damage to hair this way :)

Used this product after reading the reviews, had yellow warm blonde hair from bleaching, left this on for 7 mins as developed quickly, very happy with the results my yellow tinge has gone and I am an ashy blonde all over ☺️ will definitely use again, the condition of my hair is still soft, if left on any longer I presume my hair would of gone extremely ashy and grey so definitely be aware of when you put it on!

I got the Luminous Pearl and there is nothing pearlescent about a dishwater brown. That is the colour this will turn your hair. I left it on for about 9 minutes as it suddenly started to go really dark on my head. It has turned my bright blonde in to that horrible greenish, grey, ginger, brown colour, dependent on how the light hits it. There is no shine to it, its the flattest colour ever. Luckily it washes out in three weeks (here's hoping) I honestly feel embarrassed to go out with it. The yellow is now ginger. I would not advise this at all for anyone. You will not get the colour on the box. I'm off to Google how I can be wash this toner out quick!

Beautiful colour but you need to watch the time very carefully. The first time I used this, my freshly bleached bright blonde went dull dark blonde, but after repeated washing with clarifying shampoo (which is not great for freshly bleached hair), the colour was amazing. It definitely knocks out the yellows and oranges and leaves multi dimensional tones. The second time I used it, I applied to freshly bleached roots for 5 mins, combed through to ends for two minutes and rinsed. Perfect! It does last too which is great because I find toning conditioner quite drying and with this I only really need to use this when my roots are due to be redone. So, this is great, in my opinion. Just time very carefully.

This was great at taking my yellow bleach hair to a nice ashy colour I would say . Really happy with my hair would use again

Applied as instructed - roots and brass areas first followed by lengths. I even left 5 mins between roots and ends because I knew the roots needed a little bit of extra help. This was left on 25 mins total after application. (5 mins longer than recommended).It has however left my hair feeling soft and moisturised and shiny.This would have been a great product I was just using it to bring my hair back to life but I don't recommended it as a corrector for brassy/yellow areas.Photos before, after application, after washing, and after dry with roots

Good product and I was pleased with the results. I decided I wanted a slightly more golden blonde for my hair colour. Hence why I haven’t re boughtThis colour did revitalise my highlights and was great for summer

Please if you have very light yellow bleached hair or a root touch up - This is will make you a very dark ash chrome / silver metallic grey colour.So if like me you’re a little lighter on the ends when you have done roots. This took me pretty dark on the ends making them metallic chrome / dark silver and left the roots pretty much a lighter silver sort of strange colour. it made two colours and very obviously split roots and ends. I really needed to wash it out as looked awful.I used anti dandruff ( head and shoulders zinc :shampoo) to strip it out... Looked better once out. But it doesn’t leave a pearlescent colour I don’t think. It’s definitely much darker ash in reality.Just get a purple based lightest ash.This is a very harsh colour change for a toner in my option.. I’ve been doing my own hair for 25+ years. I cut it, colour it, bleach it and tone it.. I’m only speaking from experience of home hair care here. A hairdresser/ colour specialist may do things differently.Hope I helped.
