This is a replacement for a Pierre Cardin - also purchased from Amazon - because the aformentioned turned out NOT to be waterproof!! (I arrived at my hotel for a 2 week stay, to find my clothes wet. There was water in the hold, a common occurance with aeroplanes.)I saw this, loved the colour, read the reviews, and ordered. It was waiting for me, at my neighbours, when I got home. It's lightweight, opens like a book, not a notepad and the colour is great. The wheels also seem sturdy. As to how it will perform when I use it, I will find out in January.But, even having not used it yet, I feel that I can recommend it27/01, I have finally used the suitcase. As others say, it moves smoothly and quietly. However, when I took the case out to the taxi, the telescopic handle did not stay extended, it just fell back into it's container. Consequently, when I arrived at the airport I had to bend sideways in order to use the top handle to wheel it into Departures, then from Arrivals to the coach and from the coach to my hotel. I still love the case, but I'm not sure I would have bought it had I known there was no hold points on the handle.

Light weight case great colour

I now have all 3 of these suitcases and I’m pleased with them. The size, shape and colour are good and quite lightweight to move around. You can fit the 2 smaller ones inside the largest. Coded locks are easy to use, apart from the small cabin case. That lock was quite stiff. Initially had trouble setting the code, and messed it up, however Googled how to do it and all is fine now. The instructions to set the locks are very brief and give no indication how to reset if it goes wrong. However all ok now and looking forward to using them.

Used the cases x 2 I bought & travelled throughout India & then on a week cruise!! The cases...carried luggage to its maximum with no difficulty and no damage caused to the cases! Great value!

We bought this suitcase for a trip abroad and are so happy with it. It’s strong, lightweight and easily wheeled along. Very spacious inside, quality zips. Just perfect. I would highly recommend it. I didn’t use the lock system as prefer to use my own key lock.

These cases may look good but the quality is appalling!! After one use the seams have totally split (inside and out of the case) and the plastic is such poor quality it has worn away! Surely they should be more robust then this! They wasn’t overpacked just 22kilos in each! I have been unable to contact the seller or Amazon through their defective service which just takes me round in circles and unable to actually speak to someone. I am beyond my 30 days return period as we bought them over a month before our trip. £60 each for one holiday what an absolute joke!! Like I said on the title DO NOT BUY!!!Darren
