This was a moderately hard puzzle for several people to work on in an afternoon. What makes is a little harder is the larger areas of similar textures. However, there are not large swaths of blue and most pieces have something going on to help you out. The extra poster image was helpful for multiple people working on it at the same time to reference.Afterwards my niece and mom had fun looking up the fish to see what they actually look like. Some are way cooler than the drawn version and some are much better looking with the slight artistic license that was taken in the image.The fit was good and were not any false fits. Will purchase from this manufacturer again.

Quirky and Cute.Not too easy and not too difficult.

My husband and I usually do 500-piece puzzles, but bought this 1000-piece one when it was difficult to find any puzzles at all. We were very happy with it. The quality is good, the colors are cheerful, we learned a lot of various fishes we'd never heard of. We solve puzzles without looking at the picture, so this one took us 8 days -- we felt like we got a lot of entertainment for our money!

Perfect puzzle for the recipient who loves anything about Fish..... still waiting on how he's done assembling it!!!

My better half loves the ocean. I got it as a Christmas gift for her, and she absolutely loved it. The art style is attractive and has a touch of abstractness to it. Even so, the creatures are clearly recognizable. The box came with every piece, which is a huge relief! The pieces are of fair quality, and we didn't have any trouble putting the puzzle together once we figured out which piece went where.

Very cute puzzle and I had a good time putting it together, but like for other reviewers piece, 1,000 was missing so I will never get the satisfaction of finishing. Bummer. I still might buy other puzzles from this group because I like their aesthetic - just won’t assume all the pieces will be there.

I feel like my biggest complaint with most puzzles is the fact that they have flimsy puzzle pieces that barely fit in the spots that they're supposed to... finally, a puzzle company that makes thick pieces!Not only is the construction solid, but the design makes this a super cute puzzle that's great for the family or children learning about various ocean animals! Highly recommend this puzzle for families or groups of friends on a family night or game night.

I LOVE Mudpuppy puzzles! They are very well made, and really fun for the whole family...old and young.My parents in their 80's, and youngest nieces and nephews (ages 5-10) all love it when I set out one of your puzzles on my dining room table.The best part is that everyone can work at their own pace. Each fish is like it's own "mini-puzzle", and then we have fun putting everything together as a whole.HIGHLY recommend this wonderful puzzle!
