Perfect Vision PVSE10 Antenna Cable TV Surge Protector In-Line inline Coaxial

I had decided to cut the cord and rid myself of cable tv about a year ago when one day I began to notice occasional pixeling which I found out could be due to 4G and 5G intereference.Purchased this filter and in the 2 minutes that i took to attach to my antenna cable the signal cleared up like magic.

I gave this 5 stars because it fit perfectly on the back of my modem and because even with shipping it is less expensive than the other similar suppressors. I have no idea how well it will work and I don't want to know, however the way the cable to my home is run, across trees and my neighbors yard, no doubt I will be finding out soon as this is the third modem I purchased from Amazon. I bought two of these. It is high quality and has a secure and waterproof boot on each end.Addendum: Well here it is 6/20/18 and I am updating my report. I bought this on January 31, 2016 and have gone through some bad lightning storms. Last week we had hit after hit and very powerful strikes. Cable internet stopped working. This is the unit that was mounted in the outside cable box. I believe that it saved me many dollars in buying new equipment. I will buy a replacement soon as I still have the second one mounted on the back of the modem. I can honestly recommend this unit from experience.

It help show channels... It all worked channels total up to 64.4 now... I'm happy with that one better!... I Recommend to every one and I'll re-buy these again for later!... Thank you...

Was easy to install but with no way of testing it, I can only hope that it does what it says. It can do no harm, does not weaken the signal on my antenna feed, passes DC power to my antenna amplifier and is priced so low I installed one on my satellite receiver line and cable modem line as well. I installed mine just after my indoor grounding block for maximum safety.

Not too much to say about an inline surge protector for your coaxial cable. I installed mine to the line out of a TV antenna to protect against lightning strikes. This one is good for multiple uses and couldn't be simpler to install.

Used for inline coaxial before Y-splitter to TV and to broadband router.Product had a different outer wrap than the picture, as others have mentioned. It just has in big letters "SURGENDER (and below it) SE - 1" stamped on the casting around the male coax is the word Taiwan.Product failed after about 1 month. I lost internet connection, and it restored after I removed the in line surge protector.
