This comes in handy for camping
I got this because it looked neat but I didn't really know why I needed it at the time.I liked that it was reasonably strong without needing the chains on both sides like other brands. The need for rivet nuts was annoying but I can't think of a better way to do it.I really don't like that they cut out a design, which takes away a lot of potential utility. I will cover them eventually, because I don't want things falling through the holes. The best part, is that I have a Linsion 54q refrigerator that I use for camping, and is hard to access unless you take it out of the Jeep. I found that it's the exact size of this table and I can quickly bungee/strap it securely to the spare tire. It's very accessible, and stays close enough for being plugged in (I added outlets in the back).

Great table
The instructions were not the best. I ended up purchasing a different fastener so the table wouldn't rattle. Love the Jeep grill look and looking forward to using it for camping this year

The end result is great
I recently installed this table on a 2008 Jeep Wrangler JK. It is a great table and not a difficult install if you have some decent knowledge. Here are the pros and cons.Pros:-Doesn't have side straps nor does the table need them-Perfectly holds a Coleman camp stove-Snug when closed for travel and it doesn't rattle.-Looks good and rugged with the thin powder coating. Has the Jeep logo and is very functional. I think you could strap utensils to the bottom of the table for easy storage with bungee cords or velcro.Cons:-You have to have a metric nutsert tool to install the included metric hardware. I just purchased new standard hardware for the installation and discarded the rest.-The bottle opener sounds like a great idea, but the angle it is at makes it worthless unless you don't mind spilling some of your beer...which is not likely. Check out the picture.-The washers for the top bolts that hold the bumper should be larger in diameter to appropriately secure the bumpers.-I didn't install the bottom 2 bolts because they interfere with the tailgate vent. I don't think this will be a problem as I put small furniture pads to keep the table base secure. I had to have the table mounted high since I have a thick rubber trunk mat, so others may be able to drill just above the vent slots.Overall I'm very pleased with the table. I was surprised to see there were no other reviews or YouTube videos that I could find. Here is a quick rundown on installation:Basically, I marked where I wanted the table on painters tape. I punched the drill point and drilled a pilot hole. I then drilled the final hole and applied silicon to the hole for protection. If you are not installing the bottom two screws, put a couple furniture pads to keep the bottom from rattling.Next use the nutsert tool to install the screw receptacle. You may want to use better washers than what is provided. I screwed the mount onto the tailgate and checked to make sure it didn't bump into anything when closed. The left side of the mount is sturdy, however the right side pulls the tailgate metal-it isn't going anywhere but it is something to note. The table is then mounted onto the mount with a 13mm bolt with a spacer. It all feels sturdy even though there are no support lines on the sides like all other tables. There is a small latch on each side to keep the table snug against the rubber bumpers on the mount during travel. No appreciable rattling.Like I said, it is a good table, but the hardware and the assumption that everyone has a nutsert riveting tool is a little disappointing. If this scares you, you'll probably not want to purchase any tailgate table for your jeep.Unless a kid climbs onto the table, it will hold your Coleman camp grill, milk, taters, etc. which is perfect for camping, tailgating and trips to the park.It is nice little table!

Very nice product without the cables
This was super easy to install. Read the instructions and use common sense. Drilling into your vehicle is always intimidating but this wasn’t bad at all. The table is very solid and does not rattle at all. I really like that there aren’t any cables on the sides because it gives you the option to put bigger stuff on it.

Solid unit
Great product though not easy to install. It took me about 2 hours to install. I reinforced the top left and right ends with self tapping screws and it’s now very secure to the tailgate. I like that it doesn’t rattle and is self supporting without chains on either end like most of the others.
