Simple And Great Design
Amazing stands. The hydraulic mechanism makes it incredibly easy to get your speakers high in the air where they should be. It's also fairly easy and intuitive to lower as well. Holds my 15" PAs no problem, no shaking or wobbling what so ever. Will probably be buying second set for my 12s.

Holds my speakers up in the air
I have gone through several pairs of 'knockoff' speakers stands over the years and decided I should finally bite the bullet and get the real deal. The first pair I got, one of the stands wouldn't lower as expected, but after returning the stand the replacement works great. As a bonus the return process was painless. I did opt to get a cloth bag to carry these around so I fully expect these to last me until I retire from the DJ business. I've had more than a few friends who've been using these for years (decades by now). I am extremely happy with how easy these are to set up and use.

The Best There Is For The Price
I bought a pair of these stands for my 2-way active speakers that weigh 51 pounds each. They certainly are superior to any other stands I've used that cost less and it's a major plus to be able to raise the speakers safely by myself. The stands have a large dial that is color coded and labeled for each function. Turn it to green to raise with one hand without it being able to fall back down. Turned to red and it locks it into place. When you wish to lower it, turn it to yellow and slowly keep turning the dial while it's at yellow and it starts to lower gradually instead of releasing all at once. Ultimate guarantees them for life, you just pay shipping one way for an product exchange. The only very small con I found, hardly worth the mention, is the connector tube which telescopes up to accommodate 1-3/8" speaker sockets are made of aluminum. Even though you can't see them they get marred up from the speaker's tightening bolt and can leave small burs.

I Was a fool for waiting so long to switch to Telelock
I love these stands more than one person should probably love a speaker stand.Lightweight but you can feel the sturdiness in them when you touch them. The Telelock is that kind of no-brainer genius you wish you thought of as well as something you just do not truly appreciate until you make the switch and buy your first one. I pride myself on a strong back and hefting speakers and such but I love not having to do it with these stands. Also, my previous stands with the plastic hand tightening locks always seem to break while in transport and replacing those parts adds up quickly not to mention the 4 dozen moments of hand pain I have spent trying to torque down a broken plastic handle cause I was too cheap or lazy to chuck the old stands.

Solid Stand, manufacturing inconsistencies
It's probably the best portable stand I've used, but the switch feature is mired by inconsistencies in manufacturing. One of the stands was perfect, the telescoping portion moved smoothly. However, the other stnad was super stiff, required a lot of force to get the telescoping portion to move, which made the raise/lower/lock switch moot. However, in the end, still a very solid speaker stand.

Very Nice
I needed speaker stands for JBL 15" speakers and just assumed that they were all the same. I almost just picked the cheapest. Then I started reading the reviews. Glad I did. Once I gave a seconds thought, I realized I would be raising 40lbs 5-6 feet in the air. Did I really want to mess with the cheap stands people were complaining about? So, I opted for these based on the reviews and the opinions were spot on. Very sturdy, easy to operate solo. And nice looking. Worth a little extra money to protect my JBL investment.

Ordered 2 in 2022 and all was good…
One of my two that I originally ordered in ‘22 broke this month, so I reordered a replacement, from the SAME seller… it came with bent metal, and a missing part… very disappointing considering I love the stand and the seller.

Invest In Less Back Strain and Pain
The day I got this stand, I used it later on the job. Once I mounted the Behringer powered speaker (36 lbs), I just turned the dial to "Raise" and pushed the speaker up to the desired height I liked. Simple, no hassle and no strain. The expanding legs make sure everything is stable. At the end you just turn the dial to "Lower" and the speaker comes down in a smooth action. The other advantage is the stands light weight and strong construction. It's worth the investment in less hassle and pain.
