Best quality calcium supplement I’ve found. I was taking this for a couple of months along with my cocktail of other vitamins. My dr said my calcium levels were a little low so she wanted me to take a supplement. Since I had not had a scan to measure bone density, I cannot attest to any changes there, but one outward thing I noticed was how my nails were super strong and growing really fast.After a couple months, I decided to try a cheaper but still highly-rated calcium just to see if it would work the same. Within a week of ONLY switching out the calcium supplement, my nails almost turned soft and started breaking and peeling and barely growing. I also had digestive upset which I had not had before. Everything else stayed the same except I just swapped to a different calcium.Needless to say, I immediately stopped taking the other brand and ordered this one on auto-ship again. I will be sticking with this brand from now on.

This is the only calcium I can take, all others cause digestive and constipation issues. Plus has other nutrients important for bone strength. Great product!

Seriously I recommend to everyone !!!! Hands down the BEST supplement if I had to pick one I would take daily while going thru ssri or snri withdrawal. It helps the withdraw so much to make it much more manageable.

I normally purchase an extra bottle of this calcium supplement immediately after I open a new bottle so I do not run out. The bottle I just opened has an expiration date of 4/26, but the one I received from Amazon this morning has an expiration date of 9/25 which is a little too close for me to be comfortable, especially since it will be another month before I use it. This is however a good calcium supplement and has improved my bone density,

I was taking several vitamins a day (Calcium Citrate, D3, K-2, Magnesium, and C). I was taking Calcium Citrate because I thought it was the only form of calcium that wouldn't cause constipation. I found this Garden of Life Vitamin Code Raw Calcium Supplement and it looked great because it had all the supplements I was already taking plus it had a probiotic. I also liked that the calcium and magnesium were from whole food plant based Algae instead of a rock. I ordered it and prayed that the calcium algae would not cause constipation. I have been taking it for a few weeks now and have had no problems. I also find the capsules easier to swallow than the large calcium tablets I was taking before. I am so glad I found this supplement.

I am a holistic practitioner and am very picky about the supplements I purchase for my own health needs. I consider myself to be very informed when it comes to quality supplements and other natural forms of healing. In March of 2017, I fell down our basement stairs and was left with a fractured fibula on my left foot and a torn ligaments on the right. I was left completely immobile. After 8 weeks of wearing an Aircast and elevating my fractured leg with NO weight bearing, I returned to the doctor for a re-check. To my dismay, I found out that the bones had not healed at all after 8 weeks. The doctor suggested surgery, but checked my vitamin D first. I was surprised to discover that it was on the low side of normal. I asked that he allow me to attempt to "fix" the problem myself before putting me through a surgery and causing me to be out of work for 3 more months. He agreed to give me 4 more weeks before insisting on surgery to put pins in the fractures. I sat down, did my research, and ordered Vitamin Code's Raw Calcium due to the amount of plant-based Vitamin D3 found in the product and the positive reviews. The doctor had given me a high-potency once per week dose of synthetic Vitamin D and I did not feel comfortable taking it. Instead, I began taking 2 capsules of Vitamin Code Raw Calcium twice daily. It has been 4 weeks. I went for my recheck yesterday and the doctor was amazed at how much progress my bones had made. He attributed it to the prescription of synthetic Vitamin D (which I never took) :) I was released to begin bearing weight on my fractured leg while still wearing the Aircast and am well on my way back to healing.I had no stomach upset or other ill effects from this product. The only effect was that it is healing my bones!!!!!!! I will continue to take this product from now on. I am very impressed with the results. It just saved me from a risky, costly surgery, and months of missed work.
