Volume
This is the first time I used this product. It works great for volume. I have thin long blonde hair. I usually love Amika hair products but wanted to try something a little more cost effective. I love this!!! It works great if I spray just around my roots and not spray too much. I normally have to wash my hair everyday but with this product not only do I get volume but my hair looks great the next day. (FYI - if spray too much it will look greasy the next day and not work well so less is more. So I learned the right amount that works for me)

Disappointed
I have been using this product for a long time and love it. I always order it from Amazon because it is cheaper than my salon. I ordered it in July during Amazon deal days. It was way cheaper than normal so I ordered 4 bottles. Sprayed it on my hair days later and it stinks. It normally smells so nice but all four bottles stink. It's a sour chemical smell. I have to wonder if it was so cheap because it was incorrectly manufactured?? It wasn't as thick coming out of the sprayer either. It worked fine though. Performance wise it is a great product. It adds great volume and control so I gave it 5 stars for that but all four bottles in this order smell bad. I didn't return it mainly because I am lazy and it still does work. The funk doesn't stay in your hair but it doesn't smell good like all of the others that I have purchased.

Excellent for Volume and Thickening
This Hair😃 care product in my opinion is EXCELLENT.. especially for Volume.. it lasts a long time and it doesn't smell bad... it's just a VERY GOOD overall product that helps with Thickening too.. Now, comparing this to Aveda Thickening tonic🤔 (haven't tried Aveda Volume booster) this CHI product is BETTER imo for Volume.. but I do give a little edge to Aveda for Thickening ( makes sense) .. but NOT MUCH and CHI is at a better price than Aveda.. anyway with all that everybody's hair is different so you'll have to see which one works best for you.. one thing is for sure they're both in the same league ... and they're both VERY GOOD imo... it reminds me of trying to compare Coke and Pepsi.. 😊Anyway Thanks for reading and I hope this review helps..

Decent
It is Decent.. it provides a thicker texture, but doesn't provide the root boost I was looking for. Smells good. No residue and have to use with blowdryer to get some thickness.

My new fave
I have a lot of baby fine, super soft hair that reaches the middle of my back, which means not very much body. This spray is amazing. It's like crack for the hair. Lol Amazing at giving it the body I needed but didn't know I could have, lol. I have that super soft hair that children have. It's so soft that my bf loves to runs his hands thru it, but when I pull it up in a poney tail, it has the volume of oh say one of a 4 year olds piggy tails. 😂. Hello, I'm a grown arse woman, I want the volume of a pony not a piggy, lol. This spray makes me feel like I've got twice the volume as I had. My only sadness lies in the fact that I bought it for half the price on a lightning deal and had I known this stuff would work so well, I'd have stocked up at such a good price. So for all the thin or baby fine hair gals, a little of this goes a LONG ways. A couple squirts of this and you'll be amazed. Cheers!

Exactly what I needed!
I needed some good volume and structure to my hair, this stuff is awesome. I was using mousse, but wasn’t getting what I needed. My hair is cut blunt around my neck and I usually throw some waves in it after blow drying. I spray this all over when my hair is damp and then blow dry it, wow! My hair is full and feels very thick! I get awesome volume and it smells great! It is true that it can be a little difficult to blow dry only because the product creates a thickness to your hair, but if you get a round boar bristle brush that helps a ton with blow drying.

It was just okay as someone who air dries.
I have fine hair, and I thought I'd try this product after reading the reviews. I saw some reviews say that you don't need to use a blow dryer, and that it works well with airdrying, but I'm not sure if it is the lack of heat or the product giving me issues. I'm pretty 'no heat'. It made my hair a bit thicker (in a kinda sticky kind of way, like hair spray, but that was to be expected to some degree), but I had more luck with texturizing sprays and even dry shampoo. Maybe it works better with a blow dryer, but I did try this product plenty of times, and I'm not impressed. However, I do love the Chi scent. It has been forever since I smelled it!

Have flat hair? Try this!
I have seriously straight hair, so, of course, I want curly hair. I've been using this stuff for several years. I recently tried Wow volumizer and immediately came back to Chi. Apply it liberally on towel-dried hair and blow dry with a metal core brush. The heat on the outside (hair dryer) and inside (brush) will lock in the curl, and as long as you don't brush your hair during the day, the curl will last all day.
