Worth twice the price
I have a 23 year old disabled son that is bed bound. So keeping him clean is always a challenge, especially when it comes to washing his hair. I found an item similar to this one on a website for medical supply company that was almost $200, so I figured I’d see what Amazon had before spending that much. This thing is awesome. I was worried the water might not stay contained in the basin, but it does. There is a pretty tight seal (for lack of a better word) where his neck goes, and he has a skinny neck. So if you need to wash someone’s hair that is bed bound this product it worth twice the price.

Good for elderly
My mother is the caretaker of my 98-year-old grandmother. So taking her to the sink to wash her hair or bathtub is a no go. She utilizes this product and is very pleased with the outcome. My mother states that it is very easy to use. I had to put it together for her which was very easy. My grandmother loves to get a hair wash.

Works great but needs better clamps on hoses
I love this product. simple and easy to use. wife loved it as we were able to wash her hair easily, and cleanup was also easy. One problem I had was with the two rubber hoses, the spray hose and drain hose, would come off in use. Once the drain hose came off while draining and flooded the bed area. Also once the spray hose came off and water fell to the ground from the supply. I'm going to add clamps the the hoses to ensure this doesn't happen again. I suggest you do the same for safety.

Get's the job done with comfort.
Newly bedridden, my son hadn't had a good hair wash in months. PROS: The system was easy to set up. It left no mess, drained easily and was quite comfortable for my son. CONS: Inflation was a little tiresome with the pump included. I suggest buying an electric one. The water flow from the sprayer was a little lighter than I'd hoped. But overall all it got the job done.

Not ideal for all patients.
I like that they had a bag for water to use the spay handle. The spray handle if not is a certain position did leak and wet the bed. If the patient is on a foam type mattress topper, it is very difficult to get the “bowl” in a good position.

Helpful and useful
Bought this for a family friend who needed much TLC for her matted and tangled hair. Gave her a beauty day and brought her curly tresses to flowing again. Would buy again. It made washing her hair in her hospital bed much easier.

Tubing doesn’t stay connected
Tubing from bag to sprayer comes loose when bag is full. Drain tube from basin becomes easily disconnected and ended up with a wet bed and had to change all the linens.

Very good buy
Inflating it was difficult, but still very worth the effort as my mother was in hospital and had only had dry shampoo for 5 weeks. She has enough to worry about, now she can have clean hair.
