While you do need a kettle to heat the water, we've found that our electric kettle works perfectly, and a gas one should do just as well. You should know that 1 of the fewest pleasures in life is a good cup of coffee and I take it seriously.Clean unadulterated coffee is awesome.I use distilled water, stainless steel tea pot and organic coffee. Topped off in a stainless steel cup😁Possibly one of the best tasting coffee l have every morning.Awesome product. Wished I had discovered years ago.One thing might improve upon a superb product.Measurements on glass.Would elimate measuring out the water in a glass cup to make the perfect cup.Would allow you to know when water coffee ratio is perfect for you.Although the glass measuring cup is handy. I find the strainer fits perfectly on top to drip in while cooling.Someone knew to make glass perfect with strainer to sit on a 2 cup glass measuring cup😁Would never allow my coffee to touch plastic or ceramic

Love love love this coffee maker! It makes the smoothest tasting coffee we have ever had and is so easy to use. No need to buy coffee filters and because this is made entirely of glass and stainless steel, (most coffee makers brew the coffee in a plastic chamber),....no plastics in your coffee.

I recently purchased this along with a Barista Warrior Gooseneck Kettle, and together they work simply and elegantly to make a delicious cup of coffee. The filter does a great job of keeping the grounds out, and it is easy to clean up when I'm finished.

IN LOVE !! I’m actually excited to make coffee in the morning. So fresh and the aroma of the coffee fills my entire apartment, when using this Cosori pour over coffee maker. The only dislike I have is the wooden casing - do not get it wet, but other than that - this thing is worth every penny.

I enjoy the clean taste one gets from steeping coffee in this glass carafe. The stainless-steel reusable filter doesn't add any off-putting taste, nor does it hold onto odor. I get a much better taste than with other coffee making options.I’ve used a Keurig for many years but in recent months have stopped using it due to concerns with the internal plastic components and the high temperature steam drawing plastic particles from the K-cups. In searching for a means to minimize health risk and environmental concerns with that product, I wanted a simpler and more aesthetic means of making coffee. This product is an excellent replacement as it's easy to prepare coffee and enjoy a fresh cup or two at a time with this method. It takes a few minutes more but that's part of the charm. Enjoying the bloom of the grounds and filling my kitchen with the wonderful fragrance of coffee is worth the minimal amount of time and effort to make coffee this way. Overall, of all the methods I've used to make coffee, this Cosori Pour Over Coffee Maker is the best.When I have more time to spare, I make coffee in a stainless-steel percolator, which I also take camping. I usually reserve using that for times when I want more than a cup or two of java. I also drink instant decaf when I need coffee in a hurry and that method using Mount Hagen Organic Freeze-Dried Instant Decaf Coffee is delicious as well.I've steeped tea in it too! Jasmine and Oolong are good choices for this method. The beautiful calming scent lingers in the air for hours.

This has been a game changer for pour overs. $30 is nothing for this level of quality. I don't understand how this works, and I know this makes no sense, but I swear coffee tastes better when it's been poured from this glass beaker. Every coffee aficionado should have one of these in their collection.
