Why did you pick this product vs others?:I use this, often, in the plumbing industry when talking temperature readings , I like the big digital display, I like that the prob tucks in staying protected in my bag, vrs other brands that have bent or broken on me.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This has everything I need. I like that I could get it in white because that makes reading the little temperature cheat-sheet so much easier for old eyes. the backlighting is good and it is very accurate. Can't ask for more than that.

Accurate and easy to use. We like how it has the different meat temperature levels of cooking on the thermometer. Also that it is waterproof.

In general I'm happy with this thermometer. I had never used any of these before so I'm just getting used to it. I would say it's difficult to use in thinner cuts obviously but for thicker cuts of beef, fish, hamburgers, etc. It is really useful. The magnet on it is a simple very good idea. I dropped a star only because I can't figure out the use of the buttons.
