Yes you can. I bought two. The ends clip together to make a bigger enclosure.

Can this be put together in rectangular shape

Yes, all corners are foldable. As there are 8 pieces, it can be 2 x 2 square or 4 x 1 rectangle. Note that you do have to ensure the bottoms can't slip. Use any combination of bricks, walls, furniture or slotted bits of wood. Or non-slip floor like carpet.

Can I join two together?

I have used two together using zip ties, there is no option to clip in another fence.
