Improved performance for old laptop
These RAM modules gave new live to an old laptop. Newer operating systems use quite a bit of memory in order to do everything smoothly. Going from 4GB up to 8GB has improved overall performance of my computer. The RAM came packaged well and installed easily.

6 hours later computer go zoooooom TL;DR at end
I have a P55-GD85 board. Thing is legit like 10 years old, and this is the first time I've upgraded the ram on it since it was built. Made the jump from 8gb to 16gb.After busting open my PC I unseated my old ram, popped these babies in, and I was off to the races. Checked the stats on my computer, and instead of 8gb my system now had access to 7.99gb of available ram of the 16gb installed. Befuddled I went to google to solve my issue. It told me to mess with msconfig and system settings, so I did, but it didn't do anything.I found some other discussions instructing the user to unseat their processor. I'm sure I'm not the only person who would rather not do that but I had no other leads. So I broke down the PC again. unseated the processor, removed the ram, and hit it with a lot of canned air. Honestly it was really overdue for a dusting. Reinstalled everything, and discovered that I didn't destroy my processor when my pc booted up again. This time 15.2gb available of 16gb. I messed with the settings some more, but couldn't get it any better than that. I figured I had technically upgraded my ram at this point and that was good enough for me. 3 hours from when I started and I called it a night. The next morning I grabbed breakfast for my wife and I and she informed me the computer wasn't working. Which was wild to me, it was working when I turned it off last night, so how could it be not working now? Now my wife is a teacher, and classes were starting the next day, and she's doing online teaching now thanks to rona, and my PC is going to be what she teaches from, so the pressure was on to get this thing running.Windows couldn't fix what was wrong, and even when I tried to repair it with the CD nothing would change. bsod every time.I had bumped the gfx card while installing the ram, so I figured maybe that had gotten unseated in the process, so I tore open my computer once more in order to make sure everything was nice and properly seated. blew air into the slot for the gfx card, reseated the ram again because why not, put it back together, mashed f8 and f10 during post, started in safe mode checked the stats 256mb available of 16gb. Funny but expected, and I was in windows - if I can access it I can fix it. Reset the settings on msconfig back to their defaults and restarted.I prayed. For the first time in 20 years I prayed to an almighty unknowable diety that this would be the last time I need to reboot. That windows starts properly and no more bsod. What I found is that if there is a god it's me! 16gb of ram installed, just like that, it only took me 3 hours the night before and 3 hours the following morning but I did it.TL;DR: when you install this on an old P55 board, remove processor and gfx card, spray dust away with canned air, replace everything and you'll probably be good.

Instant MASSIVE improvement for Acer Aspire AM3470G-UW10P
My several-year old Acer Aspire AM3470G-UW10P was lagging badly. I boosted the stock 4GB RAM to 6GB with some RAM I had laying around and the improvement was negligible. I contemplated getting a new computer, but they're (like everything else these days) expensive. I rolled the dice on this 16GB RAM upgrade for $40, (the maximum this PC will accept) and I'm very glad I did. Bootup is still pretty slow because of the programs I have in the background that want to update themselves (antivirus, etc.) and a bunch of networked hard drives, etc., but once it gets fully booted up, it's MUCH faster. No longer do I have to wait forever for my web browser to launch or listen to the 30 second grinding away of my hard drive while I save a photo or a word document. My other PC is a much newer 8-core i5 machine with 24GB ram and an SSD drive, and while this older computer isn't a speed demon like that one, it now holds its' own and keeps up with daily tasks quite well. If you have a quad-core PC that's a few years old with 8 or less GB of memory that's compatible with this RAM, this is a very worthwhile and dirt cheap way to speed it up.

Confirmed working with Dell Optiplex 9020
My aging Optiplex 9020 exhibited the power cycle of death where it keep cycling power without showing the bios screen. After some diagnostics, I determined that it was a bad RAM stick. I can't believe I can find 16GB of RAM for $20, and the pair works. I did some RAM tests after installation to make sure that the entire RAM space is tested - no issues. For $20, even if it lasts a year or so, it would be worth it for me, but I suspect it will last longer, considering how tech and manufacturing have matured. I'm satisfied with this purchase. I generally don't give 5 stars, but this one comes really close; I'll reserve that last star for a revised edit after a few months.

Good upgrade for Lenovo compact desktop
Needed more memory for the woefully inadequate 4GB configured as "adequate" for Windows, which came in an old LENOVO 7033A2U. As always, the first major version update to Windows rendered it essentially obsolete. The machine is now getting a second life running a real O/S and being used as a UniFi controller. These RAM sticks met the specs at a very reasonable price and have performed as expected with the new O/S and the control software. Installation is standard for this type of RAM, and it has remained stable over the wide range of temperatures in which this machine has to operate.
