perfect for the job
If you have ever worked with supporting sagging branches on small trees or tried to support tomatoes on a trellis you know the frustration with trying to use garden tape to wrestle with the branch and support. Well these little dandies put that practice in the dustbin of obsolete gardening habits. I use these to support young tomato plants while they establish a strong stalk. I will also be using them to support fruit bearing branches once the tomatoes set fruit. The small clips work best with the seedlings and young plants. I expect to use the large clamps to hold fruit bearing branches. It takes a little getting used to for figuring out the best approach to setting the clamp but once you have it figured out it works like a charm. I will be using both garden tape and these clamps as best suit the situation but these clamps will be my "go to" option in most cases. Using an angle frame in the form of a vee cut from hog panels has become my method to frame tomatoes. The regular ones from the garden shop of the big box stores are flimsy and weak. I like the added strength and support of hog panels and they can be free standing in most situations. A simple ground spike in the form of an inverted L will stabilize any that don't naturally free stand. Try a batch and I bet you'll come away saying why didn't I think of this earlier.

Sadly, No!
Arrived with two broken. Decided not to return - didn't think I'd need them all, anyway. Over time, they ALL have broken. It's almost like they dry out...? Every single one, when pinching to open, the little handles snap off, even those I already put on my plants - can't move them.

easy to use and a good price
These are a must have for my garden now that I have tried them. They are reusable, easy to use and a good price. I used them on my tomato and pepper plants this summer with great success. I just clipped them around the plant stem and onto the stake and they stayed put all season. Prior to this season I used a platic type of tape designed for the same purpose. That tape worked very well, but it was a one use type of product. I am happy to have a solution to staking my plants that can be used year after year. I did purchase another brand on Amazon that was just like these here, but with less clips in the packet and more pricey, so at first I hesitated on buying these thinking they were of less quality. I am so glad I got these because they are exactly the same, more clips and less money. A great product and value in my mind.

Great way to support plants
These are really nice little plant clips. I use them for all sorts of things. My climbing vines, roses and anything that needs a little support. Seem very sturdy and makes it so easy to attach them.

Brittle plastic
Little ones work well, the big ones immediately snap when you go to open them.. brittle plastic.

Favorite plant clip/tie
I've tried just about every kind of tie out there from old pantyhose to the foam ties to velcro, etc. These, however, are now the first thing I grab for out of my gardening bag. I use them on everything from my tomatoes and peppers to training my cantaloupe to grow up trellis netting. The clip is strong and for pure convenience I'm not sure they can be beat. Tying or twisting doesn't take that much longer, no, but just being able to grab, clip and move on is almost addictive. They can be removed and relocated far easier than any other system. As someone who doesn't have a dollar store near me, they are easily worth the price Amazon is charging, for me at least.

Handy but flimsy
Very useful and handy for clipping up my tomatoes and for holding vines to my trellis. Easy to use, but they do break easily and won't last more than 1 season.

Don't buy from this seller
Got these and set them aside to use. Opened up the pack amd every large one was brittle and broke. No way to get a hold of seller for a refund or replacement. Refund through Amazon is closed.
