The sturdy and well designed plastic box, with rubber feet, makes a perfect raised game platform. The instructions are in German, French and Italian only but they're straightforward (i.e. each move must make a capture until only one piece remains) and the English language ones can be downloaded from the USA version. I'm so much enjoying working my way through the (60 in all) challenges that I've purchased another set for a friend.

A fun chess activity, which my kids enjoyed aswell. I'm only a so so player, but only the "expert" puzzles were challenging to an extent. Great fun though and easy to take on hols etc.

This is a well made product and arrived in good condition. As others had pointed out the instructions do not come in English but I had thought ahead and printed them out on line, in English.I bought this for my husband who is a chess player but has been suffering from 'chemo brain' since having treatment for cancer, I hoped it would help make his brain work and improve his memory. Sadly it was far too easy and frustrated him rather than exercised his brain, he really couldn't see the point of it, even the hardest level was far too easy for him. He only used it once and it is now back in the box waiting to go to the Charity shop, when they reopen.

We just leave the game on the coffee table and my wife or I sit down for a ponder every now and then. The puzzles are excellent. Particularly as you move through to the more advanced. Some you see instantly and others can take days. There are solutions, but come on!The components and concept are exemplary and the chess pieces are full size and well made.

This arrived as the German version, I know that was partly my fault because this is stated in the list of attributes but I only read the description. If you can find an English version this set is amazing and high recommended

Please note:Instructions are not in English, which is a problem for the English child I brought it for.I was told the game is very good.I can now see that the cover is in German, which I should have noticed, but assumed that there would be English inside.

I brought this for my child to help with the stress of covid 19 lockdown but when it arrived it's all in German. Not impressed you would assume Amazon would make it clear that you would be getting a version that wasn't for your country. Amazon need to make it clear it seems this has happened slot to other people Amazon need to sort this

Unseren Kindern (7,9) gefällt das Spiel sehr gut.Die Figuren sind top verarbeitet und wir hatten auch keine Fehlteile. Bei der Box kann man sich sicherlich streiten, ob sie nun aus Plastik sein muss, aber sei's drum.Vom Schwierigkeitsgrad würde ich sagen: genau richtig. Das Anfängerlevel hatten sie schnell durch. Das haben sie eher genutzt, um das Spielprinzip zu verstehen. Aber im weiteren Verlauf wird es einiges komplexer und sie saßen dann auch länger an einer Aufgabe.Alles in Allem ein klasse Spiel für verregnete Tage auf der Couch.

Para los niños sobre todo o adultos que no sepan jugar al ajedrez está bastante entretenido porque es como un puzzle pero con movimientos del ajedrez.Tiene unas plantillas que tú tienes que colocar y unos dibujos de las fichas y tienes que ir de un en un movimiento eliminando las fichas que hay en el tablero hasta que solo te quede una.Va por niveles y la verdad es que echamos buenos ratos con ellos.Y sirve para ejercitar tu mente y aprender a jugar.

La portato Babbo Natale a mio figlio (6 anni e mezzo) lo scorso Natale e ci ha giocato tantissimo, arrivando al livello esperto in 4-5 giorni (un pochino con il mio aiuto)!Secondo me è un ottimo modo per insegnare i movimenti dei pezzi e per far esercitare la logica dei nostri bimbi!E' un prodotto che consiglio!

Einfach erklärt, kompakt und kurzweilig. Und wenn man mal nicht weiter kommt,kann man sich auch nur den ersten Zug anschauen und kommt dann schnell zum Ziel. Ein schönes Spiel
