Did what they needed to do

Just what I needed to replace some brake pipes and join the ends . Worked a treat.

I can’t get one to seal against a flare in steel pipe so I’m guessing the alloy is too hard. I can’t test my copper join until the steel joint holds pressure. 3stars because it could be my flare is not perfect it looks good by eye and with an inspection camera though. I’m kinda resigned to doing front to back pipes now

Internal thread only partially cut which stops the end screwing in. Both items similarly defective. Return postage stated as £3.19, almost the price of the item. I might be able to use them as fishing weights!

The threads on these are absolutely useless, the first thing I did when they arrived was check all of the threads and I found that I had to clean them all with a wire brush and work them in and out with two spanners to find that out of the two sets that I bought (4 units) only 3 units are usable and I am going to get these checked out before I do use them by a qualified mechanic as I am still not sure if they would be safe enough to use. I wish I had taken more notice of the bad reviews than taking a chance. definitely will not be buying these again.
