Yes you easily can. I just went through 90 clays (a case) in 35 minutes. I'm an experienced shooter, hunt upland birds all the time. Make sure you bury the feet all the way into the ground. Use your feet and evenly push it into the soil.I keep my left foot on the rear of the trap. I shoot DOUBLES with shotgun safety on, and resting on my hip, I start by looking away and pulling on string with my right hand, and gradually pull, so it surprises me. ALSO...The plastic bushing the spring hooks around broke on the 12th launch. Get extra washers from Home Depot.

What size disk does this take, or are they all the same?

Almost all disk are the same size. It will throw them all.
