I use the candles in my facial treatment room and don't want to have to turn on/off each time I use them, so the remote comes in handy. However, if I don't use the candles for a day or so and leave the power button on (but shut candle off with remote), they die and have to be charged. I can't figure out why they lose their charge so fast. It is more of a hassle. I should have spent less money and bought the ones without the remote feature seeing as I have to turn them off each time I charge them. It makes more work for me. I should have returned them. Thumbs down for these candles.

Not as bright as I thought, but still gives the right ambiance. Plus I have to be careful as TV remote also turns them on, and during day don't notice, so when night comes some have stopped working. Still, glad I bought.

I bought these to place into my Halloween decorations, looking specifically for remote control, so that I don't need to change these out every night. I wanted rechargeable too, so that I didn't need to create additional waste. Well, unfortunately these will need to recharged every night, as some barely hold charge for a few hours and some don't appear to charge at all. Very expensive for very low performance!

These are a great value. The holders are a cheaper plastic but in dimmer environments they look nice. Recharging station works great.

I ordered these thinking they'd be a normal light color, y'know, like the yellow they're advertised to be. Instead I received candles with bright orange flickering lights. Woo hoo. Returning these stat. :(

After I ordered these I read other reviews and regretted ordering them.Reviews said battery didn’t last and candles just went on and off. However I put 3 in my daughters pumpkin at around 3pm and left them overnight. Next morning they were still on. So they lasted at least 16 hours. The flicker is also actually fine. The only downside is that the candle holders are plastic. I would have preferred glass. But I’d still say well worth the money and reviews are a little harsh.

I love the fact these were both rechargeable and remote control but the faux-flames were SO YELLOW I had to return them. What a shame.I mean I've seen some artificial candles that are a bit too golden to be real but you can get away with it but these were egg-yolk yellow. I had to return them.

They didn't come with an adaptor so I had to buy one which cost another eight pounds. The flickering function is horrible, they don't flicker, they just flash on and off like cheap fairy lights. You can make them flash quickly or slowly depending on what kind of migraine you want, both are equally awful.

UPDATE: now reduced to one star. After a full charge the lights only staybon for around 4 hours before they start to dim, and only around 5 hours before they go off completley.They look nice when they are used as lights however as other reviews have said the flicker is horrible and totally un-useable. They dont really flicker they just flash on and off.

No remote control was there in the box, I initially never realised that there should be a remote control. It was easy to use and all the candles came charged. After two weeks when going through the manual to find out how long it takes to recharge I realised that there should be a remote control.I still have the old package but could not find remote control any where.As the candles have gone through two charge cycles it felt bad to arrange a return.
