It simply won't record video.
This is a compact camera that was well packaged and arrived with memory card USB reader, USB cable and instructions. I formatted a brand new memory card (purchased separately) and followed the instructions . The USB card reader included in the package is very cheap and flimsy and would not work. No big deal - I used my own memory card reader. Installed the memory card into the camera and selected L (continuous mode) recording. After plugging it into an outlet the LED did blink three times acknowledging the correct mode. The LED blinks blue or red three times depending on the mode selected. No video recorded. I reformatted the memory card and then reinserted it, this time selecting M (motion detection). LED blinks and once again... but still no video captured. The video file created on the memory card was completely empty after multiple attempts. Note, the memory card does not need to be removed to read the video file. I used the USB cable to connect the camera and computer recognizes the video file on the memory card. The camera simply won't record anything. Can not expect much for the 20 bucks paid but one would expect some level of video capture. Spend more money and get something better. Thank goodness for Amazon; I returned it.
