Exactly what you need to update the Wii to a modern TV! No messing around with adaptors that need usb power supply and additional wires. The picture quality is better too. Worked straight away. Perfect

Works perfectly with our Wii and LG TV. Very easy to to plug in and use. My only real criticism is that the adaptor that plugs into the rear of the Wii is quite large and there isn't enough space behind where we have ours set up, in order for it fit comfortably, without the Wii overhanging the cabinet and at risk of being knocked off, so we've had to turn the Wii through 90 degrees so that the rear of the console is not up against the wall.

Brother brought his Wii to us for Xmas but new TV didn't have the old inputs, managed to get a quick delivery and worked a treat to use the hdmi port.

Enabled to connect to my new tv and prolong the entertainment with the grandkids on the Wii.

Used on a Wii playing games from a harddrive and physical disks with no issues whatsoever. I was going to get the Level Hike. They are sold out everywhere and the prices are being hiked up because of it. WARNING NOTE: If you play games off of a hard drive the Level Hike will not function properly, but is fine if using physical disks. I use both as mentioned above, hence why I went for this Portholic option. Do not purchase a Level Hike from the Right Sprite website which has it's own Right Sprite YouTube channel. It is a scam site. Check Reviews on Trust Pilot. Back to this HDMI adapter.... Using the Portholic, the picture was a lot better than I was expecting. My cheap Hisense 4K TV with a gaming setting, further improved the picture. All of my retro consoles including the N64 looked so much better. I also connected my M Classic Upscaler to this adapter and it improved the picture further, smoothing out any jaggies. I didn't bother buying the M Classic before because it makes ZERO difference if you are using an N64, OG Xbox, Xbox 360 etc. DO NOT buy it if for those consoles as it's useless for them. However, it does make a noticeable difference on a Nintendo Wii and GameCube. For the price this Portholic adapter for the Wii is amazing. I paid £8 something for mine, but I've noticed the price has gone up since then. I'm buying a second one as a back up it's so good and great value for money.

It works, but the audio is a little scuffed at times. Easy to setup, literally just put it in the Wii, and then the HDMI goes in the adapter. Scuffed audio sometimes, other than that it’s okay.

Ho preso questo adattatore perché sulla mia nuova TV non sapevo più come collegare la vecchia Wii e devo dire che fa benissimo il suo lavoro. È semplicissimo da usare, basta attaccarlo dietro la console e collegare il cavo HDMI, fine dei problemi. All'inizio, appena acceso, l'immagine si vedeva "stretta" in 4:3 con le bande nere ai lati ma mi è bastato andare nelle impostazioni del televisore e cambiare il formato in 16:9. Adesso si vede perfettamente a tutto schermo e con una qualità molto più definita rispetto ai vecchi cavi AV

Fonctionne parfaitement pour connecter une Wii à une TV récente via HDMI. L’image est nette en 1080p, et le rendu est bien meilleur que via les câbles d’origine. L’adaptateur est livré avec un câble HDMI, ce qui est pratique, et la sortie audio 3,5 mm permet de brancher un casque ou des enceintes externes. Installation simple : on branche, et ça fonctionne sans réglage. Idéal pour redonner vie à une Wii sur une télé moderne. Petit bémol : l’adaptateur peut parfois se déconnecter légèrement si on touche la console ou les câbles, donc il faut bien le stabiliser pour éviter les coupures. Globalement, très bon rapport qualité/prix pour profiter de ses jeux Wii avec une meilleure qualité d’image.
