Black Jack 6190 Roof and Foundation Liquid Asphalt Coating, 5-Gallon Pail

I absolutely love this product. I bought it for painting my round wooden fence posts and boards and i am hoping that I won't have to paint them again for years and years. It is brown in the bucket but dries to a nice deep black. It looks amazing. Just a side note, it is a little bit tacky even when it is totally dry. You can't stack the boards on top of one another without them sticking together where the pressure points are. The tackiness does not go away. I think that is what makes it so waterproof. But once the posts are in and the boards are screwed on the effect is great. I ordered a second bucket to do my other fencing that is already wearing off after 2 years. Hopefully it will work over the top of the old paint.

It went on well, it has tar in it I could smell it! I put it on a part of the roof that was leaking. No rain yet since putting it on . I can't attest to how well it works yet!

Great product and less expensive than others. Passed foundation inspection right away.

Mixed it using mixing bit to save time. Mixes quickly and easily. I applied it will roller brush and adjustable pole. Use quality roller for rough surfaces. After 24 hours,I examined the surface made sure it was dry. It was mixed again and a second, thicker coat was applied. I applied the second coat in a direction perpendicular to the first. Used a Tyvek suit, disposable gloves and work gloves to contain possible messes. Clean up is very easy and product has low odor.

Not thick tar. Can pour out of bucket onto roof.

Easy clean up, easy to apply and great coverage. This product did exactly what I needed to do. Highly recommend for concrete blocks.
