This is nice enough, but it’s not worth what I paid for it. It feels more like felt than I was expecting, and the color is orange, despite it saying it was red online. I’ll keep it because I also like the orange color, but would have definitely returned it if I’d been looking for a red one.

This was way better than I thought it would be. I ordered another cloak from a competitor that was more expensive and it was just awful quality, especially compared to this. I didn't expect much better from this but I was really pleasantly surprised. I got the orange color for a halloween costume/cosplay but I wanted it functional as well to use for normal wear. When I opened the package, I have been so excited about it ever since. It is not only such an absolutely gorgeous halloween/autumn orange color, it is just such nice quality, beautifully lined, legitimately functional for warmth and fashion, lovely weight, lays very well. I am so excited about wearing this for halloween and I know it will complete my look. I will try to remember to come back and post a picture of myself in it. If you are scouring the internet for a good cloak like I was, I do recommend this one. It is not costumey at all, even if I am using it for a costume, which is exactly what I was looking for, I figured if I was going to spend the money on a cosplay cape, I may as well spend a little bit more and get a functional quality piece of outerwear, and this is it. As others have said, it is true that the button hole is not opened! which is weird and I don't know what that is about, but it is an easy fix and obviously not enough to bother me at all, that goes to show you how high quality it is otherwise, that flaw doesn't detract from my rating or perception of the cape.

I've decided to return it, not because there is any problem at all with the quality, and the price is very good. It just doesn't go very far around me and it is shorter than I wanted.The cloak has a cozy weight to it. The satin lining feels very nice when you put it on. To save strain on the buttons, there is a large sturdy hook and eye at the neck that was just a little bit restricting, although I could easily have adjusted that myself with a needle and thread.I'm 5'3 and,190 pounds. It tended to fall open and I couldn't wrap it very far around me. The hem fell above my ankles, and I really wanted a floor length. I went with a cloak with a more generous cut, but this will make a perfect cloak for others depending on their size and desired length.

I was expecting this to be heavier than it is for wool. It is more like a medium felt that has a thin lining. It is nice and I will wear it as it is warm I just wish it was heavier. I did resew the buttons to make sure they would not come off and resew the hook closer also. I am going to sew another hook closer under the button one to close it a little better so its not so open down the front. It is very small across the shoulders so if you have wide shoulders it will pull it open in the front. I am not wide in the shoulders and it still pulls open in the front. I love the green color for something different. I got a lot of compliments when I wore it to witches night out and it did keep me warm! I am 4' 11" and this is about 12 inches off the ground on me. I expected it to be to the ground on me. I thought maybe I had ordered wrong or received the wrong cape but according to the package label it was right.

The only reason it isn’t getting 5 stars is two issues, both button closure related, but both fixable. The first was that there was no button hole. The sewing was there for it, but they forgot to actually cut the hole. Not a huge deal. I cut the hole myself. The second is that the buttons are clearly not enforced well enough. They didn’t do a true loop. They did a half loop, tied off with knots. I can pretty much guarantee that wearing this once for very long at all will cause those knots to pull through. I will need to do a loop on both buttons to make it proper.Aside from that, it’s pretty great. It’s warm, comfortable, has a nice lining on the inside, has arm holes that fall at the right height for me (5’6” tall), and it’s tea length, so it won’t drag the ground. It also has plenty of fabric. It closes in front just fine (size 14us). It also has a hook and eye (like a bra, but bigger) as a secondary closing measure. I wasn’t expecting that. Good to know if the button does pop, it won’t immediately drop to the ground!Overall, very pleased with it. It’s just some minor fixable issues with the buttons.

Good, solid cloak. I’ve been looking for a cloak that isn’t a flimsy costume piece and this certainly delivered. It’s quite warm and seems well made. I was quite pleased to note that it was lined as well. I believe that my only gripe would be that you have to cut the button hole at the neck yourself, and, for the price, that shouldn’t be a necessary alternation you have to make yourself. However, after reading reviews, this was something I expected and wasn’t bothered by too much. The hood can be a bit stiff and clunky when not in use, making for an awkward silhouette, but this isn’t a major problem.Additionally, I would like to add that a large worry I had was the cloak being too long, seeing as I’m quite small (4’8”), but it was the perfect length to be just off the ground when worn with heels.

I bought at the first time, I realized the length of left and right are different. Then I bought the second one, same problem… the only differences are the first one is the right longer, the second one is the left longer. I give up… then I ordered different color (dark green) from other seller, the result come up good.

THIS IS NOT ONE SIZE FITS MOST! Got this for use in the winter. It would definitely work for use to stay warm. But the shoulders are extremely narrow and the neck hole very small. Good quality for the price. But don’t buy if you’re not a small person.
