Used them to secure a panel to cover an ice machine cover to keep customers from using the ice dispenser. Highly recommend.

They're a bit spendy for what you get, but they appear to be the most secure anti-theft screws that I could find. I also purchased the matching anti-theft nuts, which added to the cost. You have to be careful that you don't spend more on the anti-theft hardware than the item to be protected is worth (I was securing a hi-lift jack / mount).

I bolted a few things to my truck that I wanted to have attached with more security than the manufacturer-supplied hex head bolts, or the usual aftermarket "security hex head."This model has a four-hole, non-symmetrical pattern which, I think, would slow down a potential thief. I am not 100% sure that the bolt security couldn't be overcome with Vise Grips but there's always one more thing the bad guy can do if they want to. The idea is to make it just difficult enough that most thieves will pass it by for something easier. To make my installation a little more secure I also put a few drops of Loctite on the threads.I downrated the review from 5 to 4 stars because one of the bolts I received did not have "clean" threads and it was hard to get a matching nut onto the bolt. I sent a message to the vendor but received no reply. Fortunately I was able to locate someone with a "chaser die" who could repair the thread.I have also given a 5 star review to the matching nuts by the same vendor--and they had no problems with their threads.

Fittings not perfect but adequate.. wish a little less grip area on inside….you can still get a plier in there.

Adds protection to my lightbar. Now I can rest easy that if someone tries to steal it, He will be having a hard time removing this nut. Five stars for fast shipping. Recommend this seller. Keep it up.
