Good leather treatment / balm from a company who makes great gloves
I own plenty of Hestra gloves, and almost every new pair has come with a small tube of this balm to treat and protect the leather. It has always done a good job, so I bought more. One container / tin was enough for me to do 3 pairs of gloves (size 9) and have a bit left over...probably enough for another single glove. It's easy to apply. They recommend using a cloth, but often those can absorb some of the compound. I've always just used rubber gloves and my hands so there is no waste. It makes it really easy to work it into the leather and spread it around nice and thin.

Costly but smells good
I bought this to treat the pair of Hestra Heli Ski 3 finger gloves that I also purchased in the same order. The Heli Skis came with a small packet of balm which I used prior to initially wearing the gloves. The balm in the small packet has no odor, and didn't darken the white goat leather much. Applied that pretty heavily and let absorb overnight. Tonight, after their first day of duty out in the elements, I used this Hestra balm. This balm differs from what was provided with the gloves in two ways.1. Applying this caused the white leather to darken a fair bit (much moreso than the small balm packet. The balm container does say that "Light leathers may darken).2. This balm has a nice smell due to the ingredients.Ingredients listed are: Sunflower Oil, Beeswax, Lanolin, Carnuba Wax, Coconut Oil, Vitamin E, Ylang Ylang Oil, Tea Tree Oil, Peppermint Oil, Glycerin.Made in the U.S.A, 1 oz/30ml.Costly compared to Sno Seal or Nikwax but the Hestra gloves are costly as well so I will give them regular treatments with this balm. There's probably enough in the container to do 6 heavy treatments on a pair of Heli 3 finger gloves.

only for dark or specific Hestra leathers
beware: if you have a pair of shoes/gloves, a bag or a jacket made of vachetta I wouldn't even dare to try using this on them: this balm will make the leather as soft as it is possible but it will also dramatically and irrevocably darken the leather. It will most probably happen to any non-hestra items. I use it only for Hestra gloves (and they darken a little as well but I don't mind) and on dark brown and black items. I always use it in the evening and by morning the leather looks almost like-new and becomes magically super-soft. Use just a little bit of balm every now and then and maybe put a little extra for off-season storage of your leather items.

Sticky and Doesn't Last Long, but Works
I'm not a fan of this balm. It's very waxy and leaves the gloves super sticky. I don't like the feeling. I also had to re-apply the coating every other time I go snowboarding and I don't really put that much wear on the gloves when I ride.I switched to a softer balm and I'm going to give that a try when I ride later in this week. If you don't mind sticky gloves then this balm is ok. Just be sure to put it on thick or expect to re-do it relatively often. It works well when it's fresh.

Works and stinks
Purchased 2019/20 winter to re waterproof Hestra gloves from 18/19 season. Appears to work satisfactorily. Sticky and stinky... renders gloves undesirable for a few days. Odor fades but doesn’t depart. Sticky turns tacky. Suggest using at the end of the season so gloves will be ready to go next season. You will be able to stand the smell and they will no longer stick together.Expensive but wanted to stay with the Hestra brand - kind of regret not buying a more pleasant odor infused treatment. “I don’t want Fop dammit! Imma Dapper Dan man!”

Works better than nothing
I've applied this to my Hestra gloves a number of times, it feels like it's better than nothing, but on spring or wetter than normal days, the leather does still soak up some water. I've yet to feel any water on the inside of the glove, but if you use this, expect that you'll still see some water soaking into the leather from time to time. Couldn't fit it cheaper... it does provide many applications, but seems expensive for what it is.

Must-Have Leather Accessory
This stuff is awesome for Hestra gloves, and keeps them warm, durable, and weather-resistant. Some advice for application would be to use a cloth and apply uniformly in a circular motion. The first time I was using this stuff, I ended up leaving some streaks on the gloves, but since then I have not had problems. I'm not sure if my gloves came without enough on, or I just learned how to better apply it, but it is one thing to note. Overall, this stuff is a must-have for any leather glove owner.

Amazing. Works for full grain leather hiking boots too.
This stuff is amazing. I don't have Hestra ski gloves, but I used it on my Zamberlan full grain leather boots and Rapha Winter cycling gloves, and they it restored their original finish, feel, and water-resistance.My advice is to do two applications 12 hours apart to avoid oversaturation and even application.

Bit naughty
Not the tin pictured! The product pictures is the larger size sold by Hestra, the one described and delivered is only the small 30ml tin.The product itself is fine but please sort out the picture you're using guys, it's misleading.

Fast delivery, very small tin
Used product to re waterproof a pair of 2 season old leather snowboard gloves. Too early to see if it’s worked as I’ve not gone away let. Product easy to apply and smells nice, I reckon there is about enough in a tin to do about 3 pairs of gloves.
