Throquet - Two Games in One - Ring-Croquet and Ring-Golf

I am not sure I will ever use this. The set of "rules" that came with it were completely confusing (and I am a smart person). I think Amazon's video of the game being played is probably more helpful than the rules that came with the game. .

This is cool. On Labor Day I will be the course master and have my friends play while I tend to the grilling. If the meat finishes early, I will just pick up the rest of the cones and declare the game over.

We tried this at our Boy Scout meeting on Game Design, combined with Family Life merit badges, and it was a huge hit! The nice thing about Throquet is that it is completely flexible based on what terrain you have available. We had planned a great outdoor activity with youth versus parents, but it wound up pouring rain that night. We switched to an indoor course and still had a blast!Then we took the game with us on a Scout campout, and the kids actually gave up their normal Ultimate Frisbee and Capture the Flag games to devote time to Throquet. For one thing, Throquet doesn't require high athleticism: lots of our youth are dare we say nerdy - so this game gets them active and moving, without requiring athletic prowess to excel. We enjoyed it, and will continue making this part of our regular outdoor recreation!

We received our Throquet game quickly and in perfect condition. It took just a couple of minutes to read and understand the laminated instructions. Our family was having fun playing this new game around our house the first night we had it. You could play Throquet anyplace - around you house, at a picnic, at the beach...The cloth carry bag is perfect to keep it all together. It's a great game. Glad we bought it!
