This is the 2nd fan I bought, and is working fine. The 1st was made by a different manufacturer from another supplier, and vibrated from the time I installed it, then failed. Hopefully, this one will last much longer, but at least it doesn't vibrate and is cooling very well.

I like the fact this one fan was able to resolve my device randomly shut down and extend the life of my laptop.

Fan fixed overheating problem. I took it to Best Buy and let them install it.

Easy to install, quiet, so far so good.

I guess it's a matter of you get what you pay for. The fan appears to be direct replacement and identical in every respect. I have been building and repairing computers for many years and I know that the install was done properly with the correct vibration pad and screw mounts. After four and a half months the fan started they very loud grinding noise every time the computer operates. This is not the hard drive as I have a solid state drive. The only other components that can make a noise like this in a laptop is the cooling fan.At this point based on my experience thus far I would not recommend this product.

Very noisy, probably going to have to buy another one in a few months, drives me nuts.
