This is a perfect introductory book that highlights the celebrations & festivities during the 5 days of Diwali.Especially perfect for toddlers, as it's a board book, and they'll love the colorful illustrations!Though it's a great read for older kids as well, Indians & non Indians alike. My daughter loves this book!

This book is beautiful! The artwork is absolutely stunning and it takes the holiday and makes it digestible for smaller kids. My baby is 5 months old and it’s too advanced for her but I personally love it because the pictures are just so lovely

This book is illustrated well, it explains the 5 days of Diwali in an easy to understand way, and it captures the essence of the holiday. My kids love it. Even recommended the book to my kids school.

Nice little book but too much for little brains.

I bought this book to introduce the celebration of Diwali to the children at my school. We have a large population of families from India and we wanted to represent them with a few Diwali festivities. One of the mothers came in and read this book to the children and it provided a wonderful explanation of what Diwali is. The illustrations are gorgeous as well!

Great story book for young kids with great illustrations

The story and pictures in this book are great. The quality could be better - my baby loves putting things in the mouth and damaged this book easily by doing that.
