Ambipolar Theory and

Great great Book - I have a Question though - I have a Book, I Believe by Newman, also a semiconductor Fundamentals book. Now in the book by Newman - He derives the operational equations using the Ambipolar Theory of the injected minority carries diffusing along with the Majority carries. I do not see any mention of the Ambipolar method in any of these series yet Newman claims it is of extreme importance - Confused
