Sponge very hard and they are much smaller than gluten Jaffas

I buy these gluten free Jaffa cakes for my child and he said they taste exactly as the normal ones. This is the second time I buy these and am pleased with the product. You do need to keep an eye of the Best Before date though as this is a pack of 6.

Perfect quick snack for our two coeliac children. They love them and so do their friends - coeliac/gliten intolerant or not.. Wish we could get them in Singapore instead of having to rely on friends from the UK bringing out bulk lots. I did email Kelkin customer service to see if they had or intended to have any stockists in Singapore or to see if we could order in bulk directly from them but they did not even bother to reply. Not great customer service.

I have recently embarked on a gluten free diet after several bad flare ups of my IBS recently, and the recommendations of a gluten free diet trial to see if gluten could be a trigger or not.Over the past 3 weeks I have managed to find some very nice gluten free products, and as I love Jaffa cakes, and have since childhood, had high hopes for these too, but sadly they are frankly......vile.I am not sure how anyone could say these taste like 'the real thing'. The chocolate and biscuit part is just fine, not as moist as the traditional ones, but acceptable, but the filling is disgusting. It tastes like a cross between orange marmalade and some alcoholic/medicinal, orange substance. They have a bitter element to them that is simply not, in any way, equivalent to the real thing.Avoid if you are expecting something similar to the old school, gluten filled Jaffa Cake.

Bought these at reduced price as short dated but this did not alter the quality. Great item for stocking up cupboard.
