Much better than stock
Much better wheels than the stock ones. Considerably quieter and smoother rolling. A little more grip than the stock wheels but they were hard plastic and we were seeing scratches on the floor. These are much better on the hardwood floor. The old ones were a pain to remove. These went in without too much issue. I think that has more to do with the design than the quality though since they do not seem to be designed to be replaced often if ever. A large flathead screwdriver helped a little with that part. Just be careful you do not break your mountpoints. Wiggle when you pull/pry seems to be the best method.

Easy fix and they work better than new!
Wow, easy to install and roll like a champ! I have thrown chairs away or actually put a free sign and have let anyone take the chair in the past.This time I checked on Amazon and two days later my trusty chair was Back in Business and all for under $20!

They work
They do work and look kind of cool, but no quieter than the original wheels that came with the chair. I only replaced because one of the original wheels came off the spindle and would not stay on.

Not Happy
I have to say that in the beginning, the wheels were smooth as silk and very quiet. But now, after using them for 1 1/2 months, the wheels are hard to move. There is hair stuck around the pin that wheels are attached to. The gap tolerance between the wheels and the housing is so small, it's impossible to remove the hair. My stock wheels got hair in the same place, but I was able to remove most of it because there was enough of a gap, to have access to grab the hair and pull it out. I purchased these hoping I wouldn't have the same problem. Unfortunately, these wheels don't have a removable pin that would make removing the hair a snap.Follow up: The seller contacted me shortly after I left this review and offered me a full refund, no questions asked. Despite the hair getting stuck, these wheels are smooth and quiet. If you're in an environment that doesn't have a lot of hair, or your significant other doesn't have long hair, these are very decent wheels for the price.

Casters don't change direction as easily as I hoped.
Easy to install. They don't change direction on hardwood very well. Also, wheels do attract dog hair as others have said but that seems to have been a common complaint with all of the others I looked at.

Works perfectly
Turns easily on very low pile carpet squares in an office setting. Rolls ok, but not exceptional. Better yet, these have held up well on heavy duty office chair. I found my go-to replacement wheels!

Desk chair wheels
