The book had clear instructions and it was well illustrated. Some knowledge of Origami is needed as it is not really for beginners.

Yes, I like this book. It isn't for the beginner though. Of course, the title does suggest this. Most of the models are fairly hard but are very rewarding and worth the effort.

This book was purchased so a group of us could make paper animals for a Lions Club International, first anniversary dinner. Alas the one animal we wanted was the Lion and that was not in this book. Never mind we had fun with the paper during the dinner making hats, boats etc and a tiger was produced from one adept member.The plans diagrams are fairly easy to follow by anyone who can read, although not recommended by the very young.good fun to try.

I bought it used and got an old edition of the book, with some diagrams that are very often hard to follow, some of them are not very clear and in some models there are steps missing. I wouldn't recommend this book for beginners as it requires some origami expertise to figure out the missing steps, and I hope the newer editions have replaced the old diagrams with more clear and current instructions.The models, however, have very nice final results and I didn't regret having bought this book at all.

Montroll is an origami master and this is his best work , starting with easy designs, and continuing with other more complex designs, but the real feature is the variety of these more complex designs. There are ornamental and 3D pieces such as the star, multi-limbed insect based animals, and a wide range of 4 limbed animals, aswell as birds and the quality never wavers. And the highlights? - The clever elephant design, the spider, the eagle, the antelope the.... Can I give this book 6 stars?

Great diagrams for intermediates. Might be a bit difficult for beginners.

The problem with this book is that sometimes the instructions are no clear and requires repeating many steps in the opposite side.Also, there is no ranking for each model, and some of them are really complicated.
