Bought this on a recommendation for dry, itchy skin, and it has been brilliant. The cream is thick without feeling greasy, absorbs nicely, and really helps calm down irritation and dry patches. It has no strong perfumes or chemicals, so it doesn't sting at all, even when skin is feeling a bit raw. The big bottle with the pump dispenser is a massive plus. You just keep it by the bed or in the bathroom, and it makes grabbing a quick squirt effortless without messing with squeezy tubes. Great value, especially if you catch it on a bulk deal. Highly recommended if you suffer from sensitive skin or eczema!

Let me tell you about my skin. My skin is dramatic. It overreacts. It sees a change in weather and decides to flake off like a Victorian house undergoing renovation. It gets itchy. I bought the Cetraben Moisturising Cream because I ran out of options and was starting to look like a reptile who forgot to moisturise. I did not expect peace. I got a ceasefire. The First Application: The tub arrives. It's substantial. It feels medical. It means business. I scoop some out, and it's thick. Not greasy-thick, but proper "I am here to fix you" thick. I rub it in, and immediately my skin breathes a sigh of relief so loud I'm pretty sure my neighbours heard it. The itching stopped. Not gradually. Immediately. One moment I was mid-scratch like a dog with a persistent flea, the next I was sitting there with my hand in the air looking stupid because there was nothing left to scratch. It was magic. Witchcraft. Modern medicine at its finest. The Pros: · The Itch-Be-Gone: This cream has a personal vendetta against itchiness. It hunts it down and eliminates it with extreme prejudice. My skin hasn't been this calm since it was attached to a baby who had no worries or responsibilities. · Texture Triumph: It absorbs quickly. I need results. · The Cold Weather Challenge: If you keep it in a cold bathroom, the cream can get a bit firm. You have to warm it up in your hands like you're preparing bread dough. Now three other people are using it. I've had to write my name on the tub. In permanent marker. With a threatening note about consequences. Cetraben Moisturising Cream has been fantastic for keeping dry and irritated skin under control. The cream feels rich and hydrating without being overly greasy, and it absorbs surprisingly well for such a moisturising formula. It leaves skin feeling soft, calm, and much more comfortable, especially during colder weather or after frequent hand washing. A little goes a long way, and it’s gentle enough for everyday use on sensitive skin. Definitely a product I’d happily recommend and repurchase

I’ve been struggling with dry, itchy skin and random patches of scaly eczema along with generalised itching due to statin side effects and good old menopause! This was recommended. As soon as it arrived I ran to the bathroom and started applying it - bliss!! Instant relief!! Almost overnight the worst patch of eczema on my wrist has just about vanished (see the pics of before n after). I’m so impressed. I would have given 5 but I knocked a star off because although it sinks in and absorbs, it takes 5 of 10 mins to lose that sticky feeling so I did struggle to pull my clothes back on, despite other reviews stating it wasn’t sticky. However, a small price to pay for the relief. Will apply at bedtime from now on when applying to the whole of my body. It’s lasted since I applied it yesterday and my skin feels soft and hydrated and looks much better. I used it on my hands, neck as well and applied the residue on my hands to my face. Great value! I notice some complain about the pump - it works but don’t expect it to work like a handwash

I'm an older lady in my mid 70s and I've looked after my skin all my life as I was counselled to do from young. So when it suddenly started looking really dry for no good reason (especially my legs ) and flaky I spoke to my GP but may as well as saved my breath. He couldn't have cared less all I got was "well you are getting older" . Yes thanks for that but it doesn't mean I have to have sandpaper skin but I got no help or answers as to why !!! So for over a year I've tried all manner of intensive moisturisers and oils but none helped. By sheer chance I came across this one and read someone else's review so bought it. I've been using it now for approx 2 weeks and the difference is astonishing it really is. (No I have no connection to the company I promise). No longer does the skin on my legs look like oil globules floating on water, all dried up !!! My skin is smooth and sleek again after putting this on morning and night. Its quite a thick cream but its not horribly greasy it just makes the skin feel nice and smooth. I can't believe after all.this time I've found this product and my GP could have prescribed this a year ago if he'd bothered.. If you suffer with dry skin I suggest you might want to give this a try its certainly top of my list now and its not expensive for the large bottle you get. I hope it works for you.

I have had eczema on my hands for 2.5 years and I have had it healed but flared up again and over and over again. I had eczema on my neck for a few months but now it is healed. I still have my eczema but it has healed massively in such a short time. I recommend washing your eczema with lukewarm water and applying the Cetraben cream then applying a heavy ointment like Vaseline to seal in the moisture. It’s got no fragrance, not greasy, it lasts maybe an hour unless you apply vaseline which will make it last a few hours.

We use this for my daughter who has really dry skin that flares up especially in the colder months. It goes on smoothly without being greasy and absorbs well. The 475ml tub lasts a decent amount of time even with daily use and it genuinely makes a noticeable difference within a couple of days. No fragrance which is important when you're dealing with sensitive skin. We've tried a few other brands over the years but keep coming back to this one because it just works. The pump on the bottle is easy for her to use herself too which is a bonus. Would highly recommend for anyone with dry or eczema prone skin.

I love this product. My skin is so much smoother and fewer visible wrinkles. HOwever, I do have a problem with the FIRE HAZARD WARNING: Do not smoke or go near naked flames; clothing or bedding with this product dried on them this product can catch fire easily. Now how did this pass Government regulations??? I am returning this product.
