Brookstone Motorized Grill Brush with Heavy-Duty Steam Cleaning Power

I was skeptical about the strength of the motor, since it works on batteries. There was no readon to worry. I guess the brush is so abrasive that the cleaner handles cleaning the grate easily and quickly. We have used the brush several times now and still have not needed the steam feature. I was also concerned about the weight being hard to handle, however it was not too heavy to handle but had enough weight to work effieciently. I bought three at one time....one for my husband and two others as gifts, for my nephews. All three were happy with their gifts. I was happy because my husband no longer brings the grill grate to the sink and scrubs it...leaving me a black mess to clean. I am a bang for your buck kind of a woman and this was a score.

Works fine when batteries are brand new, but slows down after. Needs higher voltage motor like previous version for consistent torque.

Not should how this was possible but while looking at other brands of these I came across this one and saw that it was for a dollar. A dollar!!!! How do you pass up something like this from Brookstone for a dollar. I generally clean my grill every time I use it. Drives my wife crazy. She likes wait a few day or after several uses before cleaning. I can live with that now. I just use this on the areas of the grill grate we cooked on and surprisingly it works very good. Doesn't beet hand clean in the sink but and cleans the burnt on food right off. It has some power too it. If you are going to use this many days or weeks after the fact, the result may not be good. The only down side I see is the water reservoir. It doesn't hold much and it leaks. So be prepared to fill the cleaner up with water every time. The water leaked right out the spray nozzle. Time to buy a C & D battery charger. Oh, by the way, it takes C cell batteries.

Very disappointed ! Deceptive advertisement ! The only steam that is created is when you spray the water from the brush onto the grill. I had the cap where you put the water in open and the water drained out creating steam which burned my hand! SHAME - SHAME

Way more work than it's worth to use. honestly get the same level of clean by spritzing your grill service with water and scrubbing with old fashioned grill cleaning brush, plus this is big which makes storage a bit of an issue.

motor is very slow. still needs to use elbow grease.

what a great gift for the guy (or gal) who is hard to buy for, provided they like to grill. unique and well made
