Murakami provides some interesting insights about the Tokyo Gas Attack. He interviews various people who were affected directly or indirectly. He also interviews people who carried out the attacks. Murakami attempts to understand something which very few dare to without any prejudice.

The product was authentic and delivered on time. I had a hard time reading about all the terrible experiences.

Covers every angle, answers every question

Must read book ! A very good documentary about the gas attack. I couldn't stop reading. The book quality was also good .

There are only a few vendors on amazon that will guarantee a new product with good quailty paper, ink and paper back cover. This particular copy of Underground came in bent and dusty. The pages are stained and the pages are already yellow. Some of them are folded and the ink could bleed very easily. It looks like a reprinted copy with poor printing quality. The bind is weak and the plastic has already started to peel off. It would be useful to us as customers if we could know which vendors will provide reliable, good quality products through a verification process. For those of you who buy books frequently, I find u-read store ( the vendor) to be a reliable source. To get original vintage published copies, it would be better to find a reliable source even though it maybe a little higher than the lowest offer given. Will certainly be returning this product.

Great book Wonderful read Recommended read

It's strange to say that I enjoyed reading about a terrible attack, but I did. There are interviews from victims in the first part, and interviews from cult members in the second part. The first part left me feeling sorry for the victims, and at times incredibly frustrated. I'm honestly surprised that there weren't more deaths considering what happened. The second part was just as interesting. I'd had no idea what the cult was like so reading a bit about their practices and some of the other issues they had within was a surprise.

Murakami's non-fiction book is his attempt to understand why the attack with sarin gas to Tokyo underground, that happened in 1995. Even if it is non-fiction (and the interviews with the people that suffered the attack and the criminals are impressive), Murakami still uses brilliantly his analytical skills about the world we live in. Totally recommend it!

Onun dışında kurbanların dediklerine sadık kalınmış. Düşünün yıl 1995, şimdi ise 2023 ve hala çok etkileyici. Kitap sağlam ve hızlı kalitede elime ulaştı, teşekkürler Amazon.

Amazing collection of witnesses stories. Tragic events is one side but the Japanese mentality and wort ethics are another. Interesting insight into human soul. Extremely well written.
