This item was delivered to me Aug 24, 2018, and I have now used it a full 4 months with little to no trouble, until tonight. We pulled it out to vacuum pack a few pounds of ground turkey, a normally activity for this machine in our house, and suddenly it just started vacuuming and sealing without us having pressed any buttons. It took over 20 tries to pack one single pound of turkey. Each time we plugged it in, it would randomly select and start a function, be it a seal, or canister, or dry or moist vacuum. We couldn't find a cause for any of its antics and believe it to be an internal electronics issue. Each time it would start on its own, we would have to unplug it, plug it back in again and hope for the best. It is a useless piece of junk now, but Amazon says the support window has closed on the item and I don't find any information on how the supposed "included warranty" might work.My advice: shell out the extra $30 and get something with a better reputation.

My food saver had quit on me after five years of CONSTANT use. I purchased this because of reviews. If you are a serious food saver, this will no work for you. Doesn't it give a air tight seal, IF it does...air seeps back in. The canister function doesn't seal. I'm going back to Food Saver, at least I got my money's worth.

I have to thank a user that put up the how-to video as well. After watching that, I was able to know how to use this machine and I love it! It doesn’t take much time to seal or vacuum. However, I still don’t now what type of bag would fot this because the vacuum-able bags are expensive

A little touchy, but compared to the more expensive ones, this is just fine.

Works better than I expected. Bought a bunch of bulk tea that will take me a couple years to consume: Had tea vacuumed and stored in a matter of 15 minutes. Wife loves it to seal her fresh-bought seafood (for freezing) for later use.Glad we finally got one of these... money/flavor/freshness saver.

previously had one from Ollies, a Chefman that kept getting stuck closed, took it back. decided to buy another through Amazon...this one is worse than the Chefman in that it releases the suction/vacuum before it seals, even though It is "locked". very disappointed, will likely return it

This didn’t meet my expectations. It was very hard to get a good seal and it didn’t take all the air out of the bag. I got what I paid for, next time I will more money and get a better product
